Fox did not renew Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a 6th season, but after the huge uproar on social media, NBC commissioned a new season just one day after the show had been cancelled.
Starting this season (coinciding with the move from Fox to NBC), Brooklyn Nine-Nine starts using stronger language in certain circumstances, in which the offensive language is bleeped out for comic effect. The first instance takes place here.
When Jake is trying to get Holt to leave the room he says "thank you for teaching me the importance of a tie in the workplace", which was a huge part of the plot in the pilot episode.
Between Amy, Jake, and Holt, the word "hoot" (or a version of it, i.e. hoots, hootless, etc.) is uttered 15 times.
