Quotes

  • Caitlin Snow : Careful.

    Barry Allen : I know, I know.

Caitlin Snow : This is a critical time.

    Barry Allen : Okay.

    Caitlin Snow : Steady hands.

    Barry Allen : Yeah.

[after a moment of tension, he sighs in dismay]

Barry Allen : Call time of death.

[it's revealed they're making dessert, with Barry's looking rather roughshod]

Caitlin Snow : It's okay. It's a pie. It's not supposed to be a piece of cake.

Barry Allen : [amused at the pun]  Wow.

  • Killer Frost : All right, boys, I'm tapping in.

[in surprise, Sherloque spits out his drink]

Killer Frost : Okay, let me get this straight. You two losers are sitting here in what I can only assume is the cantina of a starship, drinking and eating terrible food when you could be eating and drinking amazing food with people who actually care about you.

Sherloque Wells : All right, all right, look.

Sherloque Wells , Cisco Ramon : When you put it like that...

Sherloque Wells : She has a good point.

Cisco Ramon : You have a good point, yeah.

Killer Frost : And by the way, I have the least to celebrate this year, because I spent most of it unconscious.

    [turning to leave]

Killer Frost : You nerds coming to Thanksgiving, or what?

  • Caitlin Snow : We heard what you had to say about not having a family.

    Sherloque Wells : Right.

Caitlin Snow : And we here at Team Flash are sort of a family, and you're becoming part of that family, so we would like to invite you to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.

Sherloque Wells : Caitlin, I'm afraid that I must decline, all right? Because I don't have a lot of reason to celebrate, and you of all people should sympathize with that.

Caitlin Snow : Why should I sympathize?

Sherloque Wells : You lost your father, right? And then you find him, only to discover that his body is being possessed by a icicle demon who's trying to kill all of Team Flash, yourself included. Not great, right?

Cisco Ramon : Okay, that's enough, Debbie Downer.

    [to Caitlin, then to Sherloque]

Cisco Ramon : Don't listen to him. You know what? Maybe you should lay off the paint fumes.

Sherloque Wells : Do you know what, young Ralph Macchio? You have nothing to celebrate either, right? What your last year has been, huh? Let me recap for you. First, heartbreak.

[he pantomimes the sound of a heart breaking and Cisco crying]

Sherloque Wells : And then second, Cicada crushes your powers, forcing you to fake your own death, also not great, and as for me, multiple divorces have left me with a mountain of debt that's insurmountable. So this past year, not been very kind of any of us.

  • Barry Allen : Hey, thanks for helping. With Cicada's trail running cold, at least we have the extra day to prepare for our first Thanksgiving at the loft.

Caitlin Snow : Uh, what about Joe and Cecile?

Barry Allen : Uh, they're celebrating with Cecile's family this year. So, yeah, this year it's just gonna be the five of us.

Killer Frost : [in Caitlin's head]  I'm down.

Caitlin Snow : Six, actually. Killer Frost just RSVPed.

Barry Allen : What? You guys can just talk to each other now, even without the mental activity dampener?

Caitlin Snow : Yeah, today's actually the first time.

  • Cisco Ramon : [seeing Sherloque aggressively throwing paint on a canvas]  What...?

Sherloque Wells : Art is therapy.

    Caitlin Snow : So, Sherlock...

Sherloque Wells : Sherloque. Simple pronunciation.

  • XS : [after Barry is struck by lightning]  You guys, he's not breathing.

Caitlin Snow : He's going into cardiac arrest. She needs to restart his heart.

XS : What... how do I do that?

Caitlin Snow : Rub your hands together to create lightning, and then give him a chest compression.

XS : [doing so]  Okay. Okay.

    [trying again]

XS : Come on. Come on. Come on.

    [trying again]

    XS : It's not working!

Caitlin Snow : [seeing Barry flatline]  We lost him.

XS : [crying, trying again]  No! No! No!

    [trying again]

    XS : Please. Please. Please.

    [Barry jerks awake]

Cisco Ramon : [seeing his vitals are normal]  He's back.

  • Barry Allen : I promise, I'm okay.

    Nora West-Allen : Caitlin?

Caitlin Snow : His vitals are stable. Speed healing to the rescue.

Nora West-Allen : He shouldn't have needed rescuing.

  • Iris West-Allen : Did you get anything from Mardon?

Barry Allen : No, nothing that'll help us find his daughter. What about you guys? What'd you dig up?

Caitlin Snow : Meet Joss Jackam. She is a delinquent teen turned amateur storm chaser. A self-taught expert in theoretical meteorology.

Cisco Ramon : How do we know she's a storm chaser? 'Cause Helen Hunt here has a blog.

Caitlin Snow : Mm-hmm. She lost her grant from the Science Center for doing too many dangerous experiments on the weather.

Iris West-Allen : [seeing pictures from Joss' blog]  Well, it looks like she's way beyond the experimental phase.

Caitlin Snow : Ooh, Weather Witch?

Cisco Ramon : I'll allow it.

  • Iris West-Allen : Sorry we're late. It seems like everyone and their grandma is getting pre-holiday manis and pedis.

Nora West-Allen : Ooh, let's take photos and post them on that old-fashioned Insta thingy that you guys use.

Caitlin Snow : Those two seem to have really patched things up.

Barry Allen : Yeah, Nora's getting closer to Iris than she is with me, and the timing couldn't have been better.

Caitlin Snow : What do you mean?

Barry Allen : I mean, Nora was so young when I disappeared in her future, so this would be her first memory of Thanksgiving with both her parents. Feel like it's my job to make it the most perfect Thanksgiving ever.

  • Caitlin Snow : What's going on?

Sherloque Wells : This guy, he try to explain the Thanksgiving holiday. He's failing miserably. What is this holiday? Please explain.

Caitlin Snow : It's very simple, actually. It's just about getting together to celebrate our loved ones and family.

Sherloque Wells : So simple. This is why I don't understand this holiday. I don't have any family.

Cisco Ramon : Didn't you have, like, seven marriages?

Sherloque Wells : I did have seven marriages. Five wives, seven marriages, but no family. This holiday is a cruel holiday.

  • Iris West-Allen : What's going on?

Caitlin Snow : I-I'm seeing a massive electrical surge at the power station downtown.

    Iris West-Allen : Barry, Nora, you're up.

  • Cisco Ramon : There's an experimental cold fusion core from Mercury Labs in the plant, and if it blows...

Caitlin Snow : It could take out the whole block.

The Flash : I see it.

Iris West-Allen : Nora, you've got to evac all the workers to safety. Barry...

The Flash : Yeah, I know, I gotta grab the core.

XS : No, no, no. Something doesn't feel right.

The Flash : Just listen to Iris. Grab the workers from inside.

  • Barry Allen : Where did that storm come from?

Cisco Ramon : A storm like that coming and going, disappearing in a matter of minutes, it shouldn't be possible.

Caitlin Snow : Unless someone was making it possible. I mean, we've seen that before.

Iris West-Allen : Weather Wizard. But Mark Mardon is serving a life sentence at Iron Heights.

Barry Allen : Let's make sure he's doing just that.

    [to Cisco and Caitlin]

Barry Allen : Let us know if any other weather anomalies pop up on the radar.

  • Nora West-Allen : Dad, that weathervane, doesn't it look a lot like...

Barry Allen : The staff she was carrying, yeah. Cisco, can you pull up the security footage from her attack on Iron Heights?

    Cisco Ramon : Sure can.

Caitlin Snow : [seeing a still of Joss' staff]  It's infected with a satellite shard. She's got meta-tech.

    Nora West-Allen : Like Spencer Young's phone.

Cisco Ramon : Look, she has instant lightning on command. There's no way you're gonna be able to get that staff from her. She's gonna have to give it up willingly.

Iris West-Allen : Okay, listen, we got twenty minutes before she destroys the entire city, so what is the plan?

Barry Allen : We only have one choice. We give her what she wants.

  • XS : No Weather Witch in sight.

Caitlin Snow : Okay, Singh cleared the perimeter, so it's free of civilians.

Cisco Ramon : And our satellites are on weather watch for our Weather Witch. Nothing yet.

Sherloque Wells : What? I wouldn't say nothing. My data leaves me to conclude that there is a artifically-created pressure system of uncertain origin heading rapidiment toward the downtown core.

Cisco Ramon : Listen, Galileo, you can lick your finger and stick it in the wind all you want. Why don't you leave the actual calculations to actual compu...

    [his computer beeps]

Cisco Ramon : Oh, for Christ's sake.

Sherloque Wells : And your exasperation leads me also to conclude that you have realized, although late, that once again I'm right.

  • Iris West-Allen : Barry, do you have eyes on Joss?

The Flash : No, she's damaged the terminal so badly, the hangar's the only safe place. I'm evacuating everyone trapped on the tarmac.

Caitlin Snow : I think I can bring Frost out. What can we do?

Iris West-Allen : Flood control down at the marina.

Nora West-Allen : Guys, how do we fight weather?

Cisco Ramon : [getting an idea]  We fight weather with weather.

Iris West-Allen : [understanding]  Nora. We still have Mardon's weather wand. I need you to get it from the archives and take it to Barry, okay?

  • Cisco Ramon : A toast to...

    Caitlin Snow : Mm-hmm.

    Cisco Ramon : The thankless.

    Caitlin Snow : The thankless!

    Sherloque Wells : The thankless.

    Cisco Ramon : The thankless.

Sherloque Wells : [raising their glasses]  Allez-oop.

  • Iris West-Allen : So, it wasn't so much the taste as it was the crunch.

Caitlin Snow : Wait, are you actually saying...

Iris West-Allen : Yes, that was the year I found out why Grandma Esther's yams tasted so good, because she never cleaned her favorite skillet.

Cisco Ramon : [everyone groans in disgust]  I take it this was also the year you stopped eating Grandma Esther's yams?

    Iris West-Allen : Mm-mm, I didn't say all that.
