Worth a watch

Warning: Spoilers
I binged all 10 episodes within 2 days, the basic premise is an ancient virus is unleashed by melting polar ice caps (thank you global warming) and causes what amounts to a vampire apocalypse. So we start out with a guy (later find out his a research scientest) wandering through snow who proceeds to off himself, next we head to a lecture at a university and the lecturer who we find out is Dr Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) is informed they haven't been able to contact anyone at his research facility (where previously mentioned guy offed himself) so Swann enlists his friend Mike (whos a helicopter pilot) to fly him out there and low and behold the place is deserted no sign of anyone, the two do a search and manage to expose themselves to some toxic sample of something they find and next thing you know they are quarantined, Luther comes through unharmed and Mike turns and becomes basically an outbreak monkey and next thing you know its spreading like wildfile and we have a vampire apocalypse on our hands. It goes on from there, I enjoyed it and would love a second season. The acting is good, everyone holds there own and the story though not entirely original holds your interest.

I don't know about the others but I personally didn't like the episode very much.

V Wars Season 1 Episode 10

Review : In reviewing this episode, I would like to say that a lot has been shown in this episode. Two characters have been finished in the episode. The story of this episode has been inserted in many elements, even after so many things, this episode is not very interesting and I personally did not like it very much. Other viewers may have liked this episode but I didn't like it especially the last part of this episode.

Acting : All the actors, actresses and two child artists have performed well enough. The only complaint is that I think the actress has done enough over acting in a side character.

Direction : The director has done a good job in this episode and this whole season. However, I think there may be some problems with the story of the director's Wei episode because the last part of this episode is not a very good one.

Story : I didn't see any fault in the writers of this whole season in that way except for the episode. The beginning of this episode is well written but the last part is very poorly written and I personally did not like the ending of this episode at all. For the sake of the writers, I would like to say that the ending might have been a little better, which it may not have been.

Dialogue : This episode also used some good dialogue like other episodes but the use of a very high quality dialogue was not noticed in this episode.

Background Score : Background scores have been used very well throughout this season as well as this episode. So it can be said that I have no complaints about the background score in the case of the episode, but if there is anything good in the whole episode, it is the background score.

Soundtrack : I think in many places a site or a scary soundtrack could be used, which has not been observed in any of the episodes this season. This episode didn't use any soundtrack which is a little sad though.

Vfx : This is why VFX has not been used much but what has been said has been done very well and very accurately.

Cinematography : I would like to thank and appreciate the cinematographer so much for showing the camera people in such a beautiful way. I didn't notice any flaws in the cinematographer of this episode and the whole season.

Editing : The editor has done a pretty good job.

Lighting : The lighting in this episode is fairly good and okay.

Overall Episode : Judging by all, I gave this episode seven stars out of ten.

When I review episodes, that review is based entirely on my own personal ideas. Seeing the episodes of any season of any series, I think I write it in the review. I know, maybe in my reviews I often write something bad, like the writers didn't write the story well or the director didn't do well or the actors-actresses over-acted. But I don't use foul language or profanity in my reviews. If I unknowingly hurt someone in my review or if someone feels bad after reading my review, then I sincerely apologize to him.

I thank you for reading my review so patiently.

Don't Listen To The Other Reviews
saebaby8629 December 2019
Honestly, I feel like all the other reviewers are whiny little twits. It's a damn TV series! Things are not going to be perfect. Things are not going to be totally realistic. This is a fantasy series for goodness sake! As far as a first season goes, this one was pretty good. There was suspense, drama, action, some "happy fun time." You could somewhat tell that the cast was still getting used to acting together, which is why I only gave this series nine stars. Overall, this is a good watch. Personally, I don't let reviews determine whether or not I watch a movie or a TV show. If you're interested in watching it, WATCH IT!

It sucks (no puns)
cestmoi-292037 December 2019
Please cut out Dr. Swann's line, " I could help". It's getting really annoying, cause he couldn't help at all, and hasn't, but he keeps saying it every 10 minutes. So I binged the 10 episodes, and each of them just got worse and worse, the plot and the lines, simply put, sucked. I get it, by the build-up at the 10th episode we identified the true villains, but I still didn't know their M.O. Cause the whole thing was situational, i.e., infected by an dormant pathogen in a research outpost. So unless there was a sinister plan before Swann and Fayne were infected, the villains couldn't have foreseen an opportunity to gain power/control because of vampirism. The final scene was a "seriously!!!": Clark Kent? Captain America? Rambo? Rocky? Conclusion: Disappointed.

What the what!!?
slseed196910 December 2019
This show was on such a good path. The first 7 or 8 episodes were engaging and clever and the performances (at least the few leads) were pretty impressive. I thought they were taking the story in an interesting direction and asked some interesting questions about how a world with humans and vampires could exist. The pseudo science kinda made sense and there was real mystery...and then...in the last 2 episodes they basically jumped the shark. What the hell! All questions they were asking, tossed on the ground like some garbage in favor of some ridiculous, campy post-apocalyptic dribble that has been done a hundred times before. Please, spare me if you plan to continue this story line. I feel like I just wasted 10 hours of my life. Did you fire the whole writing staff in the last few episodes and have the producers finish writing the scripts? Sheesh!
