I want to say that I have been waiting for The Good Doctor Season 2 like forever. It's unfortunately this episode is missing the magic I got when I saw the first episode of Season 1. Not enough moments made me invest in each character. Luckily this episode was saved by the last 5 minutes before the credit tittle.

(S2. E1) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 1 ''Hello''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Andrews is now president? Damn I didn't see that coming so fast. So this is the last day with Dr. Kalu at the hospital? That sucks. Does that mean that he wont be part of the show anymore? That sucks. They are giving this patient 2 hearts? What kind of surgery is that? Does this even happen in real life? Im glad they were able to help the guy with the brain tumor. Shaun really loves and cares about Dr. Glassman, its beautiful to watch. Lea is back? Hell yeah! Awesome. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 9/10.

We commented it was like an old friend coming back to town; everything just fit and felt warmly the same. Not sure about the nay-sayers complaining it has changed. We thought the characters picked right up where they left off. Story lines drew us right in. The warmth of the sympathetic characters and the conflicts with the antagonists all were on point. Previews for the season look fantastic. Can't wait to enjoy it all.

totally disappointing when compared to the first series

The first episode lacks the grace, the balance and the delicate drama of the first series. Also lacking is the in-depth technical medical analysis of other episodes.
When Murphy and Kalu visit the homeless camp, the tones are those of a cheap horror B movie, it was almost pathetic.
I have been watching 5 times all Season 1 episodes and eagerly waiting for Season 2, but after this disappointment I don't have much expectation for the rest.
