Slooooow plodding story.

Action is like stuntmen practicing their routines before shooting.

The characters are weakly portrayed and mismatched for the story.

I was looking for a mindless entertaining story and that is exactly what I got.

I was looking at random 90 Day Fiance "stars" that were real "actors" and came across this movie. It is sad that the only person I recognize from the cast of this movie is Tim. That being said he is only in 30 seconds of the movie but still in shock to see the king of Pillow Talk in a real movie. The truth is that the film is average at best, that's probably being nice as it is just your standard run of the mill, low budget action film. I couldn't believe that this film only has 38 ratings and I follow all of Tim's social media pages and have never seen him promote this film once. I may be the only person who actually paid to watch this but I bet you a lot of 90 Day fans like myself would die to see it if they knew Tim was in it. I love Tim and Veronica on PILLOWTALK! They are so funny it is surreal to see him play a serious role!

The negative comments by others about the script's leaden dialogue and wooden acting are generally smack on. The plot is quite familiar, having been done so many times. Sex traffickers screw up when one of the gals they snatch turns out to be the daughter of, or otherwise important to, one bad-ass dude who will take on the baddies, no matter how many there are.

Oleg Prudius will never beat out Liam Neeson for a variation on the Taken franchise, but he does have his own impressive "particular set of skills". His Yuri don't say much, but calmly does what heroic daddies gotta do in these flicks. Though born in the Ukraine, he went to college in the US on a sports scholarship, and has spent many years here. That indicates that Yuri's laconic style was a choice, rather than a lack of English fluency. When he's talking, it still ain't great. But the fight scenes, the hulking hero delivers plenty of the satisfying action low-budget mayhem seekers seek.

Perhaps the best feature is that this Ukrainian is kicking the asses of villains from many countries while his former countrymen are doing the same to Putin's invaders. If he's an example of their fighting forces, no wonder they're doing so much better than their foes expected.

From the beginning where the band is playing and it's intertwined with scenes of the characters who will appear in this "movie," every minute of this is a pain to get through. We have a LONG opening credit sequence of the "actor's" names like it's some big name actor fest and it's a bunch of people you've never heard of with straight to DVD "credits" if you can even call them that. They keep flashing to supremely ugly women at a pool for some reason and when one of them was getting out of the pool, rubbing her hands up and down her body, I knew we were in trouble.

The acting and direction is so poor, it's hard to tell what's going on. We see one waitress at the pool being told to go to the bosses office. There's some pervert guy at the bar watching girls in the pool and all over and suddenly when the waitress gets to the boss's office, the pervert guy is already there. How did they manage that? Or was it just bad editing? (the latter).

The main guy cannot act and most people in this either can't act or overact. Worst are the "fight scenes" are so poorly done, I'm talking the type of fight scene you have with your buddies in the front yard when you're seven.

I couldn't get through this. I had to stop about a third of the way in. So poorly done and the constant music is just awful.

I'm still wondering why this was made.

Or something like that is the first thing that bangs my head. Old ufc and mma stars from behind the iron curtain dresses into the tough rough russiuan mafia militia, lots of heat and ice from hand to hand, and knucklehead after knucklehead lowers the flag as their living daylights forever ends.

Well its a revenge movie, and it serves the revenge, but to plot and tell a story this way is like shooting eachother with hubbabubba chew bubbles in the early 80's, its no news from the east front, and the testosteronedriven male cast is just a massacre towwards the proud actors guild of america. That doesnt mean the female part where any better, but from a grumpy old mans standpoint they do have better looks...

the 2 stars is simply given for some fresh musical score choise, especially the intro so try to temper your boosters before viewing. The rest is pure trash of pushers ,glorious colours and Wan King behind the camera because it never stands still. So if you pay with rubels or rubella you wont get anything else than ebola in return.

This does not even cum under the cathegory of ''timefiller''...

The directing, music, acting, script, special effects, story are all horrible. It is the same story that has been told 1000 times, except done extremely poorly. DO NOT WASTE ANY TIME WATCHING THIS!!!

This movie is useful as a study on how not to make a movie. The director should share with us whatever he was smoking when he thought he was directing it.

I don't know how to describe this movie. It's beyond words. But it was awful plain and simple. In fact it's beyond awful. And that me being polite about it.

This is the type of movie that I'd expect amateurs or untalented first year film school students would produce.

Acting is wooden by all, it was left wanting. The props look so fake - do knife blades suppose to be flexible? Hmm. And the editing is extremely bad. The story flow jumps all over the place.

VERDICT: Not even on a rainy day. Give it a big miss.

The movie is 'full of' action, meaning there is movement and story is kinda on point, acting could be better especially at the last 30 mins but its a fine nice movie with little suprises and action, worth to watch for fun and for ppl who like some fighting,action,etc.

I have no idea who the actors are, but it was a good movie to watch simply as a popcorn movie. It's a bit childish, but I feel like I'm watching an action movie without feeling burdened with this taste.

I have no clue how some people here give this movie a 8 or even 9 star rating :D The "story" has been told a 100 times (father saves daughter), there's no acting what so ever, the editing and action scenes (if you can call it action scenes, it's slapp stick to me) are not even worthy a B movie. This is just a very terrible movie.

I'm sure it's a not quality movie with action style.

Especially editing is bad too.

But Oleg Prudius performed the action scenes in a very convincing way.

He reminds me of Dolph Lundgren.

Terrible. I never stop a movie once I've started. I came very close during this one. Plot was logistically tangible but the acting/directing was tough to watch. The gunfight with corrupt police. The "talent". The "bad guys".... Yuck.

This movie jumps around too much and their is no storyline or plot. The music used makes no sense for the scenes either..The acting is terrible and not to mention the women are Ugly!!! They tried too hard to get the viewers attention in the beginning of the movie by showing women in bikini's and they circle around the whole pool a few times showing different angles and close-ups of buttocks on thongs coming out of pool amd rubbing their hands down their bodies...No thanks! Especially if the womens faces are Ugly! Guess the pretty women cost them too much money so they went with the cheaper ones...Haha!

I watched about 10-15 minutes and had to stop. Worst acting in a movie I've ever seen. I tried to watch more but it kept getting worse. Can't grade below 1 star or I would.

Action movie fans will love it. The story and the actors' acting is a bit disappointing, but it can be covered with action. Recommended for action movie fans.

He is an overwhelming actor who makes no one win. It suited the action very well and I enjoyed it. It's perfect for a popcorn movie on Friday night. Nice movie!

The acting was a bit harsh, but the CGI and action scenes were worth seeing. Actually, action movies don't require that much acting. So it looks like fun. A great movie to watch with friends!

The film may be weak and lacking in content. However, it seems vague to expect that the contents of an action movie will be good. A movie worth seeing at least once.

The sets, story, and characters are all fine. The lead actor also seems like an actor befitting the action. Overall, the acting is lacking, but it's a fun movie.

Right away I liked that the action and storyline was fairly realistic (as far as these types of movies go). Miami is a place where beautiful girls can be preyed upon by bad people, in this case a 18year old immigrant. Usually powerless, this story follows a father who was a local with a military background trying to rescue her. The lead is a big, strong dude - a more realistic hero than a small guy with superpowered martial arts skills. The david vs. Goliath is the odds of 1 man against a criminal network, not a small guy unrealistically beating up dozens of larger men. I had a great time watching it and would recommend to others. Production is good but to enjoy the movie, you should be prepared to forgive a few imprecisions and let them slide.

I saw it because it was action. Miami seems to be an interesting place. What is the background of such an action movie? I want to go there maybe some toehr time.
