Ashanti & Nelly’s Relationship Timeline(Photo Credit –Instagram)
Ashanti and Nelly, one of the most high-profile couples in the music world, took over the internet when they rekindled their romance after a decade. They have once again made news as the source has claimed the singer/actress is allegedly pregnant. The rumors started after the couple at Nelly’s Black and White Ball in St Louis. Their relationship dates back a decade, and, as they say, no matter how far apart two hearts drift away, they are meant to be; they will find a way to be together.
The couple has also worked together, and their collaborative song Body On Me, also featuring Akon, is one of the most notable works and is still loved by the fans. They always kept their romantic life low-key and were shy about their relationship. However, the songstress spoke about what went wrong between them sometime after the breakup.

A salute to Basque cinema, the 71st edition of the San Sebastian Festival has once again unfurled its Zinemira section, a brainchild conceived in collaboration with the Basque government’s Department of Culture. Serving as more than just a showcase, Zinemira comes wrapped in the financial backing of sponsors Irizar and EiTB, with collaborative support from Urbil, the Basque Film Archive, Epe/Apv, Ibaia, and Zineuskadi. The competition for the coveted Irizar Basque Film Award promises to be as strong as ever, drawing eligible feature films that meet a set criteria— namely, a 20% Basque production involvement, a Basque-language script, or a narrative focus on Basque communities. Not to be eclipsed, the section also lights up with the Kimuak programme, a curated selection of this year’s top Basque short films, giving them a passport to international acclaim. A rundown:

Living legend Hayao Miyazaki’s animated fantasy epic “The Boy and the Heron,” the latest from Japan’s legendary Studio Ghibli, will open the 71st San Sebastian Festival, screening on Sept. 22.
Bowing San Sebastian, Miyazaki’s film, which he has declared to be his last, will score an extraordinary double of opening both the Toronto and San Sebastian festivals in the space of a couple of weeks.
The San Sebastian screening will mark the film’s European premiere. The Toronto-San Sebastian double is a mark of the huge regard in which Miyazaki is held and an upgrade in the importance of animation at San Sebastian.
This is the fourth time that a film by the Japanese moviemaker will screen at the San Sebastian Festival, but it is the first time he will participate in its Official Selection, the festival noted on Thursday.

A Ravaging Wind is Hernández’s adaptation of Selva Almada’s novel of the same name and follows the story of a preacher and his daughter whose car breaks down during their latest mission to spread the gospel. Hernández’s 2019 feature The Sleepwalkers also screened in San Sebastian’s Horizontes Latinos sidebar.

The investigation into who killed newlywed Edgar (Zach Woods) on The Afterparty continues to unfold in the show’s latest episode, “Sebastian,” and TV Insider has your exclusive first look at Zoë (Zoë Chao) and Aniq’s (Sam Richardson) progress on the case in the August 2 episode. Still eager to find answers, Zoë is frustrated when she comes to Aniq and stands on a porch as she goes over the details of her most recent findings. Aniq asks, “Hey, how’s your investigation going?” (Credit: Apple TV+) She complains, “Not great. First Isabella [Elizabeth Perkins] accuses my sister of killing Edgar, and then she goes after my mom and my entire family, which actually makes me think that she did it, you know? Like a ‘whoever smelled it, dealt it’ situation, but for murder.” While her comparison of fart coverups to murder coverups may be a little silly, Aniq has some information to share himself,...

Spain’s San Sebastian film festival unveiled its first group of competition titles Friday, naming a typically eclectic mix of established art house favorites — Cristi Puiu, Joachim Lafosse, Robin Campillo — and rising talents, including Maria Alche, Benjamín Naishtat and American debutant Raven Jackson whose first feature, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt, will be competing for San Sebastian’s Golden Shell this year.
Produced by Moonlight director Barry Jenkins, All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt is described as a lyrical exploration of the life of a Black woman in Mississippi and stars The Woman King‘s Sheila Atim.
A second American title, the comedy Ex-Husbands from director Noah Pritzker (Quitters), also made the San Sebastian cut. Rosanna Arquette, Griffin Dunne, Miles Heizer, James Norton and Eisa Davis are part of the ensemble cast in a story focused on a father (Dunne) overwhelmed by the twin crises of an impending divorce...

A bevy of established auteurs – Joachim Lafosse, Cristi Puiu, Robin Campillo and Martín Rejtman – rub shoulders with the fast-rising figures of Maria Alche and Benjamín Naishtat and new U.S. discovery Raven Jackson among a first batch of directors contending in main competition at September’s San Sebastian Film Festival.
Also in the mix, announced Friday, is U.S. writer-director Noah Pritzker (“Quitters”) whose “Ex-Husbands” headlines “After Hours” co-stars Griffin Dunne and Rosanna Arquette.
Always open to a broader gamut of movies than many other “A” festivals, the first features confirmed for San Sebastian on Friday include four comedies with a change of register to lighter comedy for both Naishtat and Alche, who triumphed at 2018’s San Sebastián with “Rojo” and “A Family Submerged,” best director and Horizontes winners respectively.
