I am a film student so naturally while I was watching the first episode of season 2, my watchful eye caught out a few things wrong with the entire production. First of all, the acting in this series is goddamn awful. I'd say that the new girl Chanell and Gabi's boyfriend Collin are the only two people in this show that actually know how to act. The bad and dare I say, "cringy" acting takes away the entire plot. Bad actor direction and the actors' lack of professional training is probably the reason behind this. Additionally, there were several parts through-out the series where the dialogue was inconsistent (eg. a line can only be heard in one ear). This could've been easily avoidable if the dialogue was recorded into the microphones properly either on location or through ADR, and if the sound people actually did their jobs correctly there wouldn't be an issue with the sound. In terms of editing, some shots were also edited together very sloppily and there are some that ran on for too long. For example, I noticed that in the first episode of season 2 that there was an entire 2shot that spanned for quite a few seconds, but we as the audience couldn't see the character's mouth even though she was talking. A better and more diverse shot list including a few OTS, MCU or CU shots could've made the scene flow better. Finally, the writing is very choppy and at times it comes off as cringy. Perhaps Gabi's lack of ability to deliver the line realistically could've been the reason behind this.

Well, there are a few episodes left in this season (maybe another 3 or 4), but so far I'm not liking what I'm seeing. Even prior to studying film I thought that the first season was downright terrible. Coming from a fan of the original show, this show does not live up to the original show's quality. I mean, Scream Queens was a flawed show on its own, but overall the production, acting, writing and literally everything else was a thousand times better. I don't think this series should continue on with season 3, but hey; that's my opinion.

The show has HORRIBLE writing to start off with, onto of even worse acting... not to mention it attempts to be a copy of scream queens, but let's be honest even though that show was cringe atleast the acting was better, AND let's not support a botched cp ariana wannabe.

Horrible acting, horrible people, and it's a total rip off of Scream Queens. What a joke.

I don't think it can be even be Considered a show. I get Second-hand embarrassment watching it. It's like a skit a child would make with their dolls.

I wish I could give this zero stars. I have never had such bad second hand embarrassment. How did Gabi watch this back and think "yes, this is so good. I'm going to post this and make multiple seasons"? The worst script and acting I've ever seen, Gabi being the worst actor of all. It seems like the only people who actually like this "show" are 12 year old mean girl wanna-be's. I thought her music and singing was bad, but this is so much worse.

This is like one of those 2010 music video parodys on youtube but just a little bit worse. It's kind of embarrassing and cringey to watch, you're better off just watching scream queens imo.

Do I really need to say why 😖 it's made by a cp selling botched wanna be. Also the show is just generally awful lol no effort whatsoever.

Literally riverdale style acting but even worse as iconic as scream queens was this is not even an ounce of iconic just a mess of reused dialogues.

This is super low budget. Don't waste ur time. The acting is terrible as well.

A very sad (and blatant) rip-off of scream queens. The acting and everything else about the show is terrible.

The 1st and 2nd season were really bad, but the plot of 3rd and 4th were overall decent and had a lot of potential, if it had a higher budget and the actors were professional taught the show could have been something really good. Things i didn't like was characters say lines that are supposed to be "funny" but they're really just super uncalled for and uncomfortable, and it's overall just something that i can see watching as a joke. But not anything further. You can also tell that half the lines are bascially a rip-off and more or less uncomfortable and cheaper version of something that would be said in scream queens, except in scream queens, it would be better-said and would make more sense. Could have been good, but it wasn't.
