The two kids really were best actors; whilst lead guy needs to go (back?) to film school - or stick to more 'passive' roles despite the beard, truck, gun, and showing off his sword to the children! Had its moments to keep you looking since was free on Vudu, but ending is a complete bust! Total lack of plot thickeners. Overall, 9 for the setting surrounded by nature & storyline of time warp via Peacemaker boat in the Bermuda Triangle (yet they're 1 hr from Naples, so are is this fictional island in the Keys, or?), but 1 for the acting- worse than in 'Time Trap' which wasn't too bad at all compared to Calber Island!

Waste of time

From start to finish I could not figure out this movie. I kept hoping something would come clear and it never did. No real spiritual content. Very few of the actors could act except maybe the children. Why all the death? They try to bring out a moral about dying to the old life and living in the new but the movie does nothing to make this clear. There must be something I am missing. If so, I am sorry. Perhaps someone will write another review that will express an understanding of what this movie was to relate. In the meantime, if you are looking for something to watch, this is not it unless you have time to waste.
