Even the Stitch! anime was better than this.

Warning: Spoilers
Now everyone conplained about the Stitch! Anime that took place in Japan, that featured Yuna. How much of the original Lilo and Stitch series they changed (like Gantu and Reuben working for Hamsterviel again). They complained moreso of that infamous Lilo episode, and her reason of forgetting about meeting Stitch. Well, the Chinese series, Stitch and Ai, is much worse. It basically rebooted everything of Lilo and Stitch, with Jumba and Pleakly working for the Galactic Federation for the first 3 episodes trying to take back Stitch like the first movie. Gantu and Hamsterviel don't show up, nor do Stitch's cousins. Instead of Jumba making experiments that would be Stitch's cousins, he makes mythical Chinese beasts instead.. which can be kinda good if this was a Disney Junior series like the Lion Guard that teaches while having a story at the same time, but this isn't the case. The animation doesn't even look as good as the series and the movies before it. Sure the Stitch! Anime had its faults, but it wasn't as bad as this. 3/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Different actors for characters we know and love and they don't match the voices very well.

The animation style isn't as good as the original series or movies.

The story is just stitch in china instead of Hawaii.

They basically switching the location and the supporting cast of characters.

Um...

Well... where to start with this show. It's better than the anime, but nowhere NEAR as good as the original franchise. I applaud the fact that some of the writers from the original TV show came and worked on this show. But it doesn't help the fact that the first episode is pretty much a rehash of the first movie. The animation has a very Chinese feel to it. While a lot of people would disagree with me on this, I believe the animation and atmosphere can be a little pretty at times. It'll NEVER be as pretty as the original cartoon, for sure. But the animation is better here than the anime because the animation style of anime doesn't fit with Lilo and Stitch. Stitch and Ai do have a slightly tender relationship, but the problems of their relationship lies in the fact that Ai only knew Stitch for a few hours before she and her sister grew used to him whereas Lilo and Nani had three days to get used to him. Ben Diskin and Jess Winfield from the Stitch anime reprise their roles as Stitch and Jumba in this show and their impressions of the source material has gotten a little better since the anime. Overall, this show is the DEFINITION of a mixed bag for me. If you enjoyed the original show, then just have a little leap at this show. You'll either get a little enjoyment out of it like me, or you'll hate it with all your being, like most people. Oh, and spoilers on 'cause I'm paranoid.

WORST Disney Cartoon Ever!!

Warning: Spoilers
This show is awful. I was expecting this show to suck but not this much. The animation is cheap, the voice acting is awful and the plot of the first episode is just the original Lilo and Stitch all over again. Never watch this show. There is nothing good about this show: 1/10.

Better than the anime
ryukomatoi-041188 May 2021
I don't know what the past reviews are thinking, but when I saw this I felt the charm of the original LILO & Stitch the series. In my opinion, this was better than the anime (however, I haven't seen all of the anime and the Lilo episode didn't impact my perspective).

A lot of the episodes focused on Ai and Stitch's growing friendship, which I thought was nice, and showed these newer "experiments." Sure, I would've liked to have seen the Experiments but we got what we got, it's too late to change it.

I barely remember this show but I remember the charm I felt when I saw it. I wish it had a few more characters though. The Stitch anime felt like it had a fuller cast.
