We get a major revelation in this episode. Star holds a party for all the monsters and Mewnians to celebrate the unification of their peoples. I remember seeing Mina Loveberry in the Season 3 opening theme and wishing that she would finally make an appearance and here she is! I had no idea we'd get another appearance from Miss Heinous. We find out that Miss Heinous' real name is Meteora and she's the daughter of Queen Eclipsa! I had no idea that a character that seemed to just be one shot would wind up becoming so important to the story.
It's weird how Star ends up defining Miss Heinous at first. I'll just call her Meteora from now on, okay? I guess it's because she wanted to learn more about what was going on and honestly, that's what us viewers wanted to find out too. It's great to see Tom help out even though he failed to stop Mina. There's some great action in this and we learn a lot more about some of the characters and how important they are to the story. I will admit that it's not until the halfway point that we really do get good so it loses points there. It's still great. ***1/2
