At 34 years of age, Daniel Radcliffe boasts of being a household name. The actor’s decade-long stint with the Harry Potter franchise launched him from an aspiring child star to one of the world’s highest-paid actors. However, he is far from done yet and his active career has taken him far and wide with many roles coming off several productions as well as fan casts and theories pitching him right at the gates of the hottest current genre – comic book movies with Marvel and DC fans eyeing him for popular roles.

Contrary to these storming topics around him, the star, however, may have other plans. While he has not spoken out formally about such fan casts, his latest comments could hint at his thoughts. As reported by the New York Post, Buscemi, who is a New York native, was walking in the Kips Bay neighborhood on Manhattan’s east side last Wednesday (May 8) morning when a man approached him and punched him in the face. The Boardwalk Empire actor suffered a swollen left eye and face as a result of the attack and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the assailant ran off and is still being sought by police. “Steve Buscemi was assaulted in Mid-Town Manhattan, another victim of a random act of violence in the city,” Buscemi’s publicist said in a statement to the Post. “He is ok and appreciates everyone’s well wishes, though incredibly sad for everyone that this has happened to while also walking the streets of New York.

We’ll be seeing a new face in Season 2 of Netflix’s Wednesday. Steve Buscemi has joined the cast of the Jenna Ortega-led series in an undisclosed role, sources confirm to Deadline.
The coming-of-age comedy is from Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar and directed/EPed by Tim Burton. Other EPs are Steve Stark (Toluca Pictures), Andrew Mittman (1.21 Entertainment), Kevin Miserocchi (Tee and Charles Addams Foundation), Kayla Alpert, Jonathan Glickman (Glickmania), Gail Berman, Tommy Harper, and Kevin Lafferty.
The Addams Family spinoff is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ (Ortega) years as a student at Nevermore Academy. That’s where she attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
Season 2 details are being kept under wraps.

Hello, fellow kids! Fargo and The Big Lebowski actor Steve Buscemi is ready to snap his fingers for Wednesday Season 2! The veteran actor joins Jenna Ortega, Emma Myers, Luis Guzmán, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and others for another round of supernatural hijinks featuring Addams Family members and supernatural citizens of a strange world.
Details for Steve Buscemi’s character remain a mystery, though sources close to the production say he could play the new principal of Nevermore Academy. While the first season ended with Wednesday solving a series of mysterious and gruesome murders, information about Wednesday Season 2 is scarce. Regarding the hit show’s sophomore season, Jenna Ortega says the new season will focus more on horror than romance. So, a little less Riverdale and more of what the Addams Family brand is known for? That sounds promising to me.

It's not easy to get people to agree about stuff, but I think we can all agree that Steve Buscemi is one of the greats. Buscemi has been kicking around for years, appearing in big movies, small movies, TV shows, and more. He's a wonderful character actor who always heightens whatever material he happens to be attached to. Even if his part is small, you come away remembering what he did. Hell, he shows up as a waiter dressed like Buddy Holly in "Pulp Fiction" for about less than one minute and still steals that moment. He's that good. Whenever Steve Buscemi appears on screen, we all do the Leo point and proclaim, "Hey, 'it's Steve Buscemi!"
And now, he's joining the cast of "Wednesday" season 2. The "Addams Family"-adjacent show stars Jenna Ortega as everyone's favorite miserable young woman, Wednesday Addams. The series, which had episodes helmed by none other than Tim Burton,...

“The Righteous Gemstones” star Tony Cavalero has joined the cast of “Lips Like Sugar,” a crime thriller set during the 1984 summer Olympics Games in Los Angeles, starring Woody Harrelson and Owen Wilson.
Cavalero is best known for his breakout performance as Keefe, the lovable ex-Satanist turned fan-favorite mullet man, in Danny McBride’s cult hit HBO series. “The Righteous Gemstones” was renewed for a fourth season last July.

"Drive-Away Dolls" may be fresh out in theaters, but the wild (and wildly entertaining) road trip comedy from Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke has already reached one destination quicker than expected: it's now available on digital platforms.
If you missed your chance to catch "Drive-Away Dolls" in cinemas -- which, given the lackluster box office impression it made during its late February debut, wouldn't be surprising -- you can still watch the ribald queer comedy from the comfort of your living room for about the price of two matinee tickets. The movie is currently available to rent or own on premium video-on-demand platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV, Vudu, and Google Play. Each platform seems to be offering a 4K Ultra HD rental option for $19.99, while some also include a purchase price of $29.99. When it comes to the film's rollout on the home market, though, "Drive-Away Dolls" still has some road left to travel.

It’s the last full weekend of the shorter month of February, and it’s hard to think that anything will do well enough to have any sort of impact on a month that barely recovered from January with a better-than-expected Presidents Day weekend. Read on for Gold Derby’s box office preview.
What we get this weekend as far as new wide releases is an anime project, a faith-based drama and a quirky indie of sorts from an Oscar-winning filmmaker, which should all enter the Top 10 interspersed with returning movies.
Crunchyroll is releasing “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training” into 1,962 theaters. It’s a similar theatrical release as what’s been done with “The Chosen,” in that it’s actually made up of two episodes from the popular Crunchyroll anime series, the conclusion of the “Swordsmith Village Arc” and the first episode of the “Hashira Training Arc,...

Comedy series “Tacoma Fd” has been canceled at TruTV after four seasons, Variety has confirmed.
The series originally debuted on the basic cabler back in 2019. The show was part of the network’s push into original scripted series, alongside other shows like “At Home With Amy Sedaris,” “I’m Sorry,” and “Bobcat Goldthwait’s Misfits & Monsters.” However, TruTV’s original programming lineup has been winnowed down to virtually nothing in the past few years, with the only original series still on the network being the hidden camera show “Impractical Jokers.”
Likewise, fellow TNets like TBS and TNT — all of which fall under the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella — have gone from notable rosters of scripted shows to having none. Most recently, the TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers” was canceled after four seasons. That show featured a cast that included Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi.

The upcoming Marvel Studios production Thunderbolts is going to feature multiple actors from various previous Marvel films and TV shows reprising their roles. It’s got Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster… and if Thunderbolts had started filming last summer, as it was supposed to before the strikes hit, it also would have had actress/writer/comedian Ayo Edebiri, whose credits include Big Mouth, The Bear, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, in the cast. Unfortunately for Edebiri, the production delay caused her to run into scheduling issues, so she has had to drop out of the project. Welp, there’s been yet another casting casualty in Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts” project that was supposed to shoot last year but was delayed because of the actors’ and writers’ strikes. Following the departure of Steven Yeung, now we’re learning that “The Bear” star Ayo Edebiri, is also leaving the project due to scheduling issues. Luckily, they’ve found a superb replacement in Geraldine Viswanathan, the charming young actress known for “Blockers,” “The Broken Hearts Gallery,” the series “Miracle Workers,” and Ethan Coen’s upcoming “Drive-Away Dolls.”
It was never clear who Edebiri was to play; rumors had her pegged as appearing as the assistant to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

Marvel’s “Thunderbolts” is coming further into focus.
Geraldine Viswanathan has joined the cast of the team-up film, replacing Ayo Edebiri in an undisclosed role after the Emmy-winning “The Bear” star dropped out of the project due to scheduling.
Viswanathan joins a massive ensemble cast of actors playing some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best known anti-heroes, including Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (aka the Winter Soldier), Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as John Walker (aka U.S. Agent), Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr (aka Ghost), Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Although specific plot details remain top secret, the movie will effectively serve as Marvel’s version of the DC’s anti-hero team the Suicide Squad, with the characters brought together to do the dirty jobs the Avengers can’t do.

The Daniel Radcliffe-starring comedy anthology series Miracle Workers has been canceled at TBS after four seasons, making the August 28 episode the series finale. But now loyal fans are wondering if the show might be saved by another network or streaming service. As reported by Deadline, the show’s future looked grim back in January when TBS no longer had options on the cast, meaning new deals would have needed to be made for a possible fifth season. However, the creative team was said to have had storyline ideas already in place for Season 5, so if ratings for Season 4 did well, it was possible the show could have been renewed. And sources say that Radcliffe is keen to carry on with the show, which is something of a pet project of his. In addition to Radcliffe, the series starred Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass, who portrayed new characters each season.

There was no miracle for TBS' last remaining live-action comedy series. To no surprise, the cable channel has cancelled the Miracle Workers series, so it won't be back for a fifth season. The fourth season aired over five weeks during the summer.
The fourth season of the Miracle Workers comedy anthology series stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. Guest stars include Quinta Brunson, Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Lolly Adefope, Paul F. Tompkins, and Lisa Loeb. Simon Rich created the show. Subtitled End Times, season four is set in a post-apocalyptic future. The story follows a wasteland road warrior named Sid (Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord named Freya (Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare: settling down for a more normal life in the suburbs. Miracle Workers has come to an end. TBS has canceled the anthology comedy series, its last remaining live-action comedy, after four seasons. The Season 4 finale, which is now the series finale, aired August 28.
The cancellation is not entirely unexpected. Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva reported in January that Season 4 could be the last. At the time, she heard that TBS no longer had options on the cast, led by Daniel Radcliffe, so new deals would need to be made for a possible fifth season — a daunting proposition, which networks rarely resort to. But she heard that the series’ creative team had an idea for a potential fifth season that Radcliffe was excited about, so, if Season 4 did well ratings-wise, it was possible that the show could have continued with Radcliffe, who would have needed to make a new pact.

TBS original comedy “Miracle Workers” has been canceled after four seasons, Variety has confirmed. The cancellation comes just months after the series finale aired in August.
Set in a post-apocalyptic future, Season 4 (aptly titled “End Times”) of the anthology comedy picked up with wasteland warrior (Daniel Radcliffe) and a ruthless warlord (Geraldine Viswanathan) as they face the most dystopian nightmare of all: settling down in the suburbs. “Together they navigate the existential horrors of married life and small-town living, all under the dubious guidance of a wealthy junk trader (Steve Buscemi),” reads the description. Previous seasons covered the Oregon Trail and the Dark Ages.
In addition to Radcliffe and Viswanathan, the series also starred Karan Soni (“Deadpool”) and Jon Bass (“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law”), and Karan Soni. Guest stars this season include, Quinta Brunson (“Abbott Elementary”), Garcelle Beauvais (“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), Kyle Mooney (“Saturday Night Live”), Ego Nwodim...

Daniel Radcliffe is enjoying the time he is spending with his newborn son.
The Harry Potter star recently opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how people warned him that after a baby’s fix six months, “it gets better,” but the actor feels like it’s been great thus far.
“It’s awesome,” he told the publication. “I’ve kind of really enjoyed the first six months.” He also noted that he isn’t sure what he imagined of fatherhood, “but it’s great. He’s incredible and I’m just, like, in awe.”
Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend, Erin Darke, welcomed their first son in April, a month after news broke that the couple was expecting. The actors met on the set of 2013’s Kill Your Darlings, in which he played famous poet Allen Ginsberg, and Darke portrayed a woman he has a sexual encounter with in a library.

Big developments are on the horizon to excite the fans of the X-Men property. Deadpool 3, while waiting to resume filming when the SAG-AFTRA strikes end, brings Hugh Jackman back for one last ride as Logan since the MCU is welcoming the Merc with a Mouth into their shared universe. Jackman’s newly developed last outing as Wolverine includes putting him in the signature yellow suit that comic fans have been waiting for. In addition, Marvel Studios has been looking into writers and directors to take on the inaugural film featuring the famed mutant team in their first reboot film.
One of the more popular rumors for the past year is the casting of Daniel Radcliffe as the next incarnation of the beastly Canadian. Radcliffe denied the casting rumors last year, but his new ripped physique that’s been displayed on his show, Miracle Workers, is making people question his denial.

One year after telling fans he has no interest in playing Wolverine, Daniel Radcliffe is once again confronting rumors of a potential X-Men debut. This time, Radcliffe was asked by his “Merrily We Roll Along” musical co-stars Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez during a Vanity Fair lie detector test if it was Radclife himself who started the fan casting for the “Harry Potter” star to play Wolverine. Not true, he said.
While Radcliffe has downplayed rumors of playing Wolverine in the past, fans continue to look for signs that it’s true. Case in point: Radcliffe appeared in nothing but his underwear in the August series finale of his TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers,” and his muscular physique was enough to reignite rumors that he’s circling a Wolverine role.

When speaking of superhero movies, this year certainly had its ups and downs, and as we’re waiting to close this year with Marvel Studios ‘The Marvels’ and DC’s ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,’ we can already look forward to everything that next year is supposed to bring us, but only if the current release schedule remains intact, which we don’t believe it will.
According to the current schedule, 2024 will offer much more Marvel content since DC is set to release only one live-action movie, and Marvel is set to release six movies; three of them set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and three of them set in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.
The most anticipated movie of those six is arguably ‘Deadpool 3,’ which will bring the Merc with a Mouth back to the big screen after six years, as well as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine for the first time since 2017’s ‘Logan.

Just two years after winning a Best TV Movie/Limited Series Supporting Actor Emmy for “Mare of Easttown,” Evan Peters currently has a strong shot at conquering the corresponding lead category as the star of “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.” By succeeding on this outing, he would not only maintain his perfect acting Emmys record, but would also follow Ed Flanders as the second recipient of both possible limited program performance prizes.
Given the overall strength of this year’s Best TV Movie/Limited Series Actor lineup, Peters’s potential win won’t come easily, if at all. The only other previous Emmy nominee in the mix is Kumail Nanjiani (“Welcome to Chippendales”), with most of the slots being filled by well-known first-timers Taron Egerton (“Black Bird”), Daniel Radcliffe (“Weird: The Al Yankovic Story”), Michael Shannon (“George & Tammy”), and Steven Yeun (“Beef”).

When “Harry Potter” actor Daniel Radcliffe made his stage debut in 2007, he shocked Hollywood. At 17 years old, Radcliffe was cast as the lead in “Equus,” a Peter Shaffer play in which he would simulate sex with a horse.
Sixteen years later, a similar announcement would barely turn heads.
Now 33, Radcliffe has spent more time working as a professional actor outside of the franchise that skyrocketed him to fame than in it — and creating a singular body of work that exemplifies his artistic sensibilities and talent. Just four years after “Equus” and in the same summer as the final “Potter” premiere, he took a crash course in singing and dancing to lead the Broadway revival of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” (cast recording). This was followed by tackling horror in “The Woman in Black,” playing Allen Ginsberg in “Kill Your Darlings,” and running head-first into the dark fantasy “Horns.

Steve Buscemi has been in some of the best films and television series out there, from "Reservoir Dogs" to "Boardwalk Empire." His work spans a multitude of genres, but many of his most notable roles have a single through-line: violence. Buscemi has been cast as many a villainous character in gritty crime dramas, but in more recent years, the actor has moved largely into voice acting for children's animated features like "Boss Baby" or comedic shows like "Miracle Workers" and "Bupkis." What triggered this major career change for Buscemi? As it turns out, one of the best television shows of all time caused the actor to lose his appetite for on-screen bloodshed.
Although he had only a minor recurring role in "The Sopranos," Buscemi was instrumental in the series. Not only was his character a major part of Tony and Christopher's past and one of the show's best characters,...

Following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, several original TBS shows were cancelled and/or licensed to other company's outlets. In October 2022, it was announced that season four of Miracle Workers would premiere in January, but that date came and went. The new episodes have finally surfaced, but TBS appears to be burning them off, running two at a time over five weeks in the middle of summer. Has this show already been cancelled? Could Miracle Workers still be renewed for season five? Stay tuned.
The fourth season of the Miracle Workers comedy anthology series stars Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, and Jon Bass. Guest stars include Quinta Brunson, Garcelle Beauvais, Kyle Mooney, Ego Nwodim, Lolly Adefope, Paul F. Tompkins, and Lisa Loeb. Simon Rich created the show. Subtitled End Times, season four is set...

[Editor’s note: The following interview was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike began on July 14, 2023.]
Geraldine Viswanathan seems like the kind of gal you can kick off a conversation with — a professional one, to boot — by way of owl-based non sequitur. Indeed, you can, as the perpetually rising (and that’s Ok!) it girl and constant “breakout star” (she’s been here!) is about as easy and fun an interview subject as anyone would desire to have.
Where you know Viswanathan from depends on your taste in entertainment: the Emmy-nominated Aussie has been working since the age of 4 (when she booked her first commercial) and has appeared in a range of roles ever since, from the raunchy (and smart) teen 2018 comedy “Blockers” to the TBS anthology comedy series “Miracle Workers.” She’s done plenty of indies and had a recurring role on the animated comedy gem “BoJack Horseman.”
And yet, every time Viswanathan pops up in a new project, people seem to be reminded all...

[This interview was conducted prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike authorization.] [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Miracle Workers, Season 4, Episode 3, “The MatriXXX.”] Miracle Workers continues its dystopian comedy tour in the latest episode, “The MatriXXX,” in which married couple Sid (Daniel Radcliffe) and Freya (Geraldine Viswanathan) try to bring a little spice back into their relationship with the help of killbot Ti-90 (Karan Soni), a.k.a. Tai. Together, they agree to enter the “MatriXXX,” a big void filled with various sex toys where they are asked to unlock an array of fantasies from their minds in order to reignite the missing spark. At the helm of it all is Tai who dons “Laurence Fishburne‘s actual Matrix jacket,” according to Soni. (Credit: TBS) The actor excitedly reveals that most of the wild toys seen in this void were actually real. “It was just so crazy. And there were things I have never seen that were on there. The ...
