How on Earth did "Bad Actors" get green lighted? It's supposed to be about the Steampunk subculture, but is an embarrassing misrepresentation. It's so bad I'm not even insulted. In the opening, a girl dressed in a Goth costume is discovered in a horror movie. She is deaceased, sadly. Because she is wearing a brown corset (which matches nothing else she's wearing), she is declared to be "Steampunk." Not "Steamgoth," not "vaguely Steampunk if I had to warrant a guess," but Steampunk. She is a college student involved in a Steampunk film. This alone warrants her murder. Almost all Steampunk films are an affront to cinema.
A murder suspect, the director of said Steampunk film, then gives the definition of Steampunk: A thing is good because it looks good. This may be a corruption of the Victorian Aesthetic motto ("Art for art's sake."), but it's not the definition of Steampunk. A very simplistic definition of Steampunk would be science fiction in a Victorian-esque setting, often with fantasy elements.
