Well I did not hate this movie but I can say that is one of the worst films I saw in 2019

Well , how many movies of this type are released each year on mexican cinemas?, like 1 million. It a appear that mexicans love this movies.
This movie is by no means original , or unpredictable , it does not have good acting. Is the cliché movie with rich guys, vs some more middle class or poor guys, hate each other , and ended up working together and in relationship for some reason.
We have many of this movies , and I think is a cultural thing, since 50% of mexicans are poor, they dream to meet that rich person who would solve they problems and be a prince or pretty woman , but life does not work that way, and is very easy to work on that premise , this is why the most boring movies exploit that , and Mirreyes vs Godines is not the exception.
I think thay startted with a fresh idea and at the end they do the same as all mexican rom-coms does.

Ruined potential

This movie has a lot of potential, but the weak writing in the second half ruins any hope.
The first half of the movie is a lot of fun and the story is interesting, but from the water slides sequence everything is ruined, thanks to unoriginal and predictable writing, including totally unnecessary sex scenes and romances that don't add much to the plot. The ending isn't too bad but it feels bland because of all the unnecessary stuff they put in, it wasn't necessary to spend a lot of time telling about the characters' romances. The acting is decent, most of the impromptu jokes are the most laughable, there are no bad production elements, although the cut between scenes and how they are arranged is a bit disconcerting and some scenes feel forced between two others. The character development at the beginning seems good, but after that nothing interesting is added to almost any character.
The potential of being a good comedy is completely ruined from the second half, but the first half is very promising and funny, so objectively it's a disaster but I thought it was a funny movie with a story that in the end causes me indifference and with characters that are interesting but I don't end up empathizing with everyone.

When the movie begins, we see a kind of unfortunate events, from the young man who has everything and lives with his family who think that his life is perfect to the young man who has nothing and has to work hard to make everything work out for the best. Way, that's why I think the movie had a good initiative.
After that we can see the typical office scenes, situations typical of the people who work in this type of company and its staff who apparently all lead an average pace of life, as I say, good promises for a film with potential.
The bad thing is when they start to add humor or themes of scenes for adults, I think that for a few years now these types of arguments are what make many Mexican films go downhill and, above all, make them too predictable and repetitive.
A clear example is the first half of the movie, it is too promising, so much so that you can see its intention, but it is when they start with these repetitive ideas in the second half that the movie becomes boring and monotonous. For example, they go to an amusement park and see the typical scene of social division or the fact that the main character falls in love with a young woman with money.
Even so, I think it is bearable, it can entertain and it is not necessarily as bad as many think, the truth is, even if it is bad, within the bad we can rescue several things.
