As a new recruit to the stunt-driving team, the player has to prove his worth by racing with progressively more difficult computer characters. Another engaging aspect of the game is the built-in sandbox-style track editor. Thousands of user-made tracks with high scores are circulating on the usenet. In the emergence of WWW in the early 90's, fansites held tournaments where players sent in their high-scoring replays. Search on DOS abandonware websites for various releases of the game (there were at least 2), and the track collections. Stunts is fully playable on NTVDM under Windows XP with computer beeper sound. Full MIDI sound (much better) requires booting into pure DOS 5 OR 6.22 and Sound Blaster 16.
