A family comes to a psychoanalyst in Moscow. The mother is French, the father is Russian, and their son, who is about to start the school, but for various reasons does not speak. During the sessions, the psychoanalyst notices that the boy likes trains and starts playing a toy railway with him, gradually changing the reality around the boy. This is a story about "mismatches" - between the worlds of adults and children, a real and a toy train, a norm and our ideas about it.
