Not a bad episode. It also doesn't seem that great. Not sure what I will think of the rest of the show but will give it a try. The idea itself is pretty entertaining. The characters are a bit annoying though. The main actress was a bit stiff. It still had some fun moments. So we'll see.

Many things during this episode & the second one didn't really make sense. We didn't get to see Patty's utter transformation and in just 3 months she seemed to have lost weight drastically; just like that, without giving a supporting and reliable backstory, merely because the weight loss was essential for the narrative to develop and create a difference from other tv shows regarding teen comedy-drama. Also, is Bob the male who does everything in town? He's a lawyer, beauty pageant "advisor" and charity organiser. There are other utterly ridiculous scenes that seem like bloopers with really bad acting. However, the good thing about Insatiable is the fact that it's highly entertaining and can easily take away your free time.

Do people even watch the episodes before rating them on IMDB? Cause it's not possible to watch 12 hours of episodes in under 2 hours within the release. I liked this episode, funny, dark comedy. I don't even get why there's hate, Scream Queens also had fat shaming and most cbs sitcoms. The fact that over 200,000 people signed a petition to cancel this show before it even got released ( leaving hundreds of the cast unemployed) is just disappointing. If you don't like the show, don't watch and move on. It's 2018, fat shaming happens in reality.

Despite the negative press surrounding this series, I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. It's really funny and tackles various social issues. Its the complete opposite of what critics of this show says. The fat shamming issue was blown out of proportion mainly due to its trailer. Give this series a shot. I want more seasons! C'mon netflix.

Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for this show, I thought I would give this a 3, but it was OK. I neither think it was really good tho, but I will watch the rest of the season. Is somewhat entertaining and I didn't saw fatphobia(at least in tne pilot).
