Based on the short story "How Far it Could Go" by Lawrence Block.
The project originated when Mary Higgins Clark invited Lawrence Block to submit a story for an anthology called The Plot Thickens. After the initial publication (and subsequent reprints in EQMM and Enough Rope), someone pointed out that the story would make a good play and it was performed as such in Australia. After reading the stage play in Mr. Block's "Catch and Release" story collection, Timothy Judd reached out to him and requested permission to adapt it into a short film.
