I'm not even a Catholic, this anime combined religious knowledge and detective pretty well. I learn one or two about both science and holy stuff through this anime. About the main characters, their personalities and backstories were remarkable, I just dislike how there aren't any stories about how the priests got along with each other and what happened before this anime, that would make the anime a lot better and have more depth since they just throw in 2 priests with a platonic relationship without any explanation. And also, the organization in Vatican, the other characters from the FBI agent to Father Julia, Lauren and that French royal family. The anime has lack of background development, they focus on every single piece in the crime scenes, but they just left the main background insignificant. I can call it an "unsolved ending", but it just pisses me off. Maybe it's just because I like this anime so much that when it ends, I hate how short it was even though overall it was better than bare minimum. I gave the anime a 10 because of the friendship between the 2 main guys, it's gold and pure like pure gold. The art and references are also impressive, went really well with the religious subject This anime is probably forgotten now, it can't catch up the 2022 anime standard anymore.

Kind of like "The Envoys"

This is a welcome deviation from the traditional anime genres. Vatican Miracle Examiners follows two priests around the world as they attempt to determine if biblical-proportioned "miracles" have occurred. Of course, the plot gets more ominous as the show goes on. I suggest this if you're looking for something different and your favorite shows are unforgivably slow at releasing new episodes, as is common in the anime genre.
