Italian director Luigi Cozzi discusses the film, CALTIKI THE IMMORTAL MONSTER in this twenty-one minute featurette, which has all sorts of great stories about the making of the film. Not only does Cozzi discuss various aspects of CALTIKI, this also takes a look at some of the Italian science-fiction films made before this one. The main focus of course is on CALTIKI and its director Riccardo Freda and the special effects artist (and co-director) Mario Bava. Cozzi goes into great detail about the job that both of these men had and the somewhat controversy over who actually directed it. Cozzi discussed the film with both men so it's interesting hearing his stories and we also learn a few other great bits of information about the production and its fate being sold across the world. Fans of the film will certainly enjoy these stories and there's no question that Cozzi is very easy to listen to.
