I remember seeing Top Gun in the cinema upon its release in 1986 (so yes nearly four decades ago) and the soundtrack was very impressive, with Berlin's Take My Breath Away a signature track for sure. Terri Nunn's vocals are beautiful and soothing and the video really brings together the fighter image of the air force with romance and all.
Anyway, I haven't seen the Top Gun sequel but anyway Take My Breath Away is one of those signature songs for easy listening radio and I mean that in a positive way, kind of the music for late night easy listening to soothe your mood and help you for a restful night.
