According to Lucy, JFK suffered from ulcers, colitis, blood infections. Based on recent examination of his medical records, the findings indicated he suffered from Addison's disease, an auto-immune disorder which attacks his adrenal glands (found on top of the kidneys). As a result, he would have suffered from inflammation of his colon, and trouble dealing with stressful situations.
When using facial recognition software to try and find JFK, Jiya comments about Ansel Elgort's resemblance to the young president. In 2017 Elgort was slated to play young JFK in the upcoming feature about his life, Mayday 109.
John F. Kennedy said his father's number is Gramercy 5934. This phone number format requires further explanation. According to the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), the phone number scheme devised in the twentieth century is NPA-NXX-xxxx, where NPA is the area code, NXX is the local exchange, and xxxx is a unique identifier. Around the time of the formation of phone system, there were named exchanges, NXX fragment, so when the operator was given the number GRAmercy 5934, she would focus on the first three letters, and the name of the exchange simply served as mnemonic device for the caller.
At the end of the episode Lucy is watching "It Happened One Night" starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert
