The Marvel Cinematic Universe has lost most of its charm after Avengers: Endgame. After most of the Og characters’ story concluded following The Infinity Saga, the Kevin Feige vehicle took a different approach for The Multiverse Saga. Sadly, it did more bad than good. The introduction of the excessive amount of Disney+ Marvel shows and movies brought the MCU to its lowest.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe
Fortunately, it looks like Marvel Studios has listened to its fans and realized their mistake as the latest comments by Kevin Feige hint at a brighter future for the superhero universe. The MCU boss promised his fans that he would surely return with a bang. He assured that the haters would be proven wrong and the fans would once again get back their glorious Marvel days.

Tim Daly talked to ScreenRant about voicing Superman, who is making a comeback with the remaster of Superman: The Animated Series. Daly opened up about a host of things, but chief among them was the topic of why we need the series to come back, and why it needs the same treatment as X-Men: The Animated Series.
Superman: The Animated Series
Superman: The Animated Series is unlike the shows that audiences have gotten used to nowadays. With a slew of films and shows looking to depict an increasingly violent and “realistic” superhero universe, Daly revealed why the world could use a show like Superman: The Animated Series right about now.

Today, there are so many superhero movies and TV shows that the genre as a whole needs a rethink and a new approach. Peacemaker, The Boys, Gen V and Invincible have already ironically and brutally poked fun at the absurdity of superheroes.
About a year ago, Emma Moran from Northern Ireland wrote a script for a typical sitcom about young friends in London, submitted it to a competition and won. Then, quite unexpectedly for the debutant, the series was ordered by Disney+ and a superhero topic was added.
Even before the premiere of the first season, the project was renewed for a second season. Extraordinary was 2023’s biggest comedy gem and deservedly received a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

With so many high-profile MCU projects on the way, it's no wonder that so many rumours are doing the rounds regarding Marvel Studios' plans. Today, we have another roundup for you, and we're kicking things off with a big Marvel Animation update.
According to @CanWeGetToast, the upcoming Marvel Zombies TV show will feature "Infinity Hulk," an even more powerful Variant of the Green Goliath imagined in the same vein as What If...?'s Infinity Ultron and Infinity Killmonger.
The Hulk is near-unstoppable as is, so giving him the Infinity Stones should result in a spin on the character fans can have fun with.
We also have news on X-Men '97. Daniel Richtman reiterates recent reports that Marvel Studios is keen to make as many episodes as possible of the X-Men: The Animated Series revival, producing them back-to-back to avoid a lengthy wait between seasons.

Mortal Kombat 1 may have issues, but its ability to bring together strong individuals from various franchises makes it stand out in the fighting genre. From Invincible‘s Omni-Man to The Suicide Squad‘s Peacemaker, the latest NetherRealm title’s had no shortage of excellent guest characters, and the developer has shared a first look at another supervillain who will be making his Mortal Kombat debut soon.
The absence of Antony Starr’s voice is glaring, but everything else looks faithful to what Homelander’s all about, including drinking milk in a disturbing way.

How else can one get the required nutrition for brutal fights in Mortal Kombat 1?
After Prime Video shared the trailer for the fourth season of The Boys, Mortal Kombat 1 got on the hype train and unleashed its first look at the unhinged supervillain from the show joining the game.

Do you enjoy the movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe? If so, you may be familiar with Ross Marquand as the actor who took on the role of the villainous Red Skull in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. But did you know that he is also currently voicing Charles Xavier in the latest of Beau DeMayo’s animated series, X-Men ’97?

The Walking Dead started as a comic series by Robert Kirkman, artists Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard in 2003. Publishes primarily in black and white, the series ran for 193 issues before ending in 2019. AMC acquired the rights for the graphic novel from its creator in 2009, before spawning a full-fledged franchise of The Walking Dead.

Kirkman has also written the comic series for Invincible, which is currently busy producing the third season of its animated series on Amazon Prime. This is why there is speculation about his other comic series also someday getting an animated adaptation. The creator said that while he would love for The Walking Dead to get an animation, it can only happen under one circumstance.

Here's a return no one saw coming: Aaron Stanford is appearing as the mutant Pyro in "Deadpool & Wolverine," reprising his role from "X2: X-Men United" and "X-Men: The Last Stand." It feels like the movie settling for whatever cameo it can secure since Pyro is very much a B-lister among the X-Men.
St. John Allerdyce (just John Allerdyce in the movies) has the mutant ability of pyrokinesis, or controlling fire (hence his adopted name of Pyro). However, it comes with a caveat. Unlike, say, Firebenders from "Avatar: The Last Airbender" or Colonel Roy Mustang, the Flame Alchemist, from "Fullmetal Alchemist", Pyro can't create fire. Hence, his comic costume has a dual hose flamethrower (with the tubes affixed to his wrist) to create the flames for him, which he can then manipulate.
Mr. Allerdyce is Australian (with the accent to show it), continuing the trend started in the reboot...

Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead was one of the most happening shows that graced television long before the author achieved more success with Invincible. Being a comic book first, the show had a slew of plot points that it did not adapt from the comics, which Jeffery Dean Morgan wishes was not the case.
Jeffery Dean Morgan in The Walking Dead
Jeffery Dean Morgan began starring in The Walking Dead as Negan in Season 6, where he was introduced with his trusty weapon, Lucille, the baseball bat wrapped with barbed wire. Morgan talked to CheatSheet about one scene that he wished was adapted into the show from the comics, one that was profoundly important for the character.

Netflix’s Cobra Kai Season 6
Season 6 will consist of 15 epic chapters with Part 1 arriving on July 18, Part 2 on November 28, and Part 3 sometime in 2025. The studio’s strategy is reminiscent of what Amazon Prime did with Robert Kirkman’s Invincible.

Michael Jackson was the King of Pop and every king has a court. It’s no surprise he worked with several other megastars across genres over the course of his life. Some of those collaborations are classic and others are tragic.
1. Justin Timberlake
“Love Never Felt So Good” is a posthumous disco duet with Justin Timberlake. It’s not as good as Jackson’s classic disco tracks but it has an infectious, cherry energy. It feels more like a prequel to Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” than anything else.
The song has some great timing. It came out in 2014. 2013 saw a huge revival of disco music with hits like Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines,” Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” Bruno Mars’ “Treasure.” while it was a song from the vaults, “Love Never Felt So Good” felt practically modern! The tune appeared on the posthumous album Xscape. Xscape is not Thriller,...

Fallout was a successful live-action adaptation of a popular video game with the combined efforts of Bethesda Game Studios and Amazon Prime Video. It shattered records and even made short work of popular series like The Boys and Invincible but couldn’t top The Lord of the Rings.
The show was able to pull an impressive 65 million viewers in the first 16 days since the day Prime Video released all of the episodes. Compared to an equally well-budgeted show based on the popular work of author J.R.R Tolkien, it was considerably better and more well-received.
The Fallout Series Is Way Better Than the Lord of the Rings Spinoff The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power had a strong start but failed to capture the fans, unlike Fallout.
Despite having a strong start, the video game adaptation was the second most-watched title on the platform and fell behind The Rings of Power.

Michael Jackson‘s “Blood on the Dance Floor” is one of the most underrated songs of the “Thriller” singer‘s career. While the song’s funky instrumental is fascinatingly dark, the song’s backstory is even darker. The song’s producer revealed that the King of Pop wasn’t even aware of the creepy coincidence behind “Blood on the Dance Floor.”
The connection between Michael Jackson’s ‘Blood on the Dance Floor’ and a shooting
In the 1990s, the “Man in the Mirror” star started experimenting with the R&b subgenre known as new jack swing. Who better to help him than Teddy Riley, the lead singer of the band Blackstreet? Riley worked with Jackson on the final three studio albums the King of Pop released in his lifetime — Dangerous, HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I, and Invincible — as well as the remix album Blood on the Dance Floor: HIStory in the Mix.

Fascinatingly, X-Men ’97 is not the first show with a rumored Spider-Man cameo this year. However, it is much more likely that Marvel’s Web-head would be able to make an appearance in the X-Men successor series given that Marvel might not have to jump hoops to bring him into X-Men ’97.
Marvel famously has to share its rights with Sony when it comes to Spider-Man, splitting his rights to appear in live-action films. There was a lot of anticipation about how the character might appear in Amamzon’s Invincible, but that was quickly sidestepped thanks to the hoops the show might have to go through to make that happen.

A recent research report released by the U.S. based website ’38 North’ has shed light on a startling revelation that North Korean animators are suspected to have contributed to animation projects produced by Japanese and U.S. studios, despite ongoing sanctions against engaging in business with North Korea.
The report published on April 22, 2024, indicated that North Korean animators contributed to projects such as ‘Dahliya In Bloom,’ an upcoming anime series slated to premiere in July, and the third season of ‘Invincible,’ produced by California-based Skybound Entertainment and set to air on Amazon Prime.
In addition to the aforementioned projects, the report also identified other materials linked to Japanese animation studio Ekachi Epilka, as well as video files resembling content from The Octonauts, a popular BBC children’s cartoon.
This was first discovered by Nick Roy, who operates the Nk Internet blog. He stumbled upon a North Korean server overflowing with animation files.

1954's "The Creature From The Black Lagoon" was the last gasp of Universal Pictures' black-and-white horror heyday. Pivoting away from literary adaptations towards something more resembling contemporary man-in-suit monster movies, "Black Lagoon" introduced one last staple of the Universal Monster line-up: The Gill-man. A missing link in the evolutionary chain, the amphibian man has the same mix of terror and lovelorn pathos as his monstrous brethren.
It's not quite the pop-culture staple that "Dracula" and "Frankenstein" are, but "The Creature From The Black Lagoon" has been reimagined many times (most famously in 2017 with Guillermo del Toro's Best Picture-winning oddball romance "The Shape of Water" — it was almost black-and-white like "Black Lagoon" too). Now a new comic book starring the Gill-Man comes forth from Skybound Entertainment, boasting a title that belongs to a forgotten Universal Horror picture: "The Creature From The Black Lagoon Lives!"
Skybound isn't just revitalizing "The Transformers" and "G.I. Joe.

Researchers have unearthed a trove of documents that show animators in North Korea contributed to shows that were distributed by Amazon and Warner Bros Discovery’s (Wbd) media outlets.
The documents, discovered on a misconfigured server tied to a North Korean network, showed animators worked on programs like the Prime Video cartoon “Invincible” and the Cartoon Network show “Iyanu: Child of Wonder.”
Researchers who spoke with the tech publication Wired said it was unlikely the production companies at the center of the shows — Skybound Entertainment and YouNeek Studios — and the American media companies that distributed the programs were aware that animators from North Korea helped contribute to them.
Instead, the researchers proffer that the involvement of North Korean animators proved the country was able to successfully circumvent economic sanctions imposed by the United States to generate its own income.

Ella Purnell has entered the cultural zeitgeist with her hit show Fallout, based on the video game of the same name. The show has become quite the hit, which indicates Purnell’s rise as a science fiction icon. The Fallout actress has also been a part of the Star Trek universe, but there is one regret regarding the show that the actress still suffers from.

Remember 2006? That was the year that High School Musical came out, and so did Lance Bass. The very first tweet was tweeted, and Miley Cyrus was just some actress on a new Disney Channel show.
In this strange and innocent time, NBC dropped a (then) totally unique pilot into its mix of programming. It was a superhero show – but one without any recognizable names, like Superman or Batman. It was an ensemble show, but it was also high-budget. And, two years before The Dark Knight declared superheroes to be serious business, it challenged the audience to really think about what it might mean if average, ordinary people developed superhuman abilities.
The show, of course, was Heroes.

Rebel Moon is an IP that Netflix seems to be leaning into, thanks to Zack Snyder’s promise to turn the franchise into something on par with Star Wars. Originally starting out life as an R-rated Star Wars story that had to be buried come Disney’s acquisition of the property.

However, despite finding a new life at Netflix, Rebel Moon seems to be struggling with critics, something that might impact its viewership on the streaming platform. The idea was to create an IP that could rival those from other studios, but it now seems like Snyder does not want to stand with the versions of the films released to the audiences.

Prime Video’s Global Top has recently lacked some good old horror shows, with the prominent domination of the sci-fi saga Fallout and the superhero hit Invincible. However, their supremacy can be shattered by the upcoming platform’s horror show, which appears to be the continuation of the 2021 gripping anthology series.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has largely been a live-action affair, be it in theatres or with streaming. So far, only one entry into the franchise proper has been animated, that being What If…? X-Men ’97 has been the latest animated series that the studio has put out and could be on its way to becoming an MCU installment too if rumors are to be believed.
X-Men ’97
It seems like the superhero genre has entered a golden age of animation, with shows like X-Men ’97 and Invincible, and films like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The genre is receiving the kind of boost it needs, with all the talks of superhero fatigue quickly fizzling out in the wake of these acclaimed shows and films. In light of its recent success, the directors of X-Men ’97 have a similar idea for the X-Men IP, one that Kevin Feige can’t possibly overlook...

The Walking Dead maker Skybound Entertainment is pushing into the unscripted game.
The firm has hired ex-Catalina Content exec Brent Jacoby to head up the new division, which will tap into pre-existing Skybound IP such as AMC smash The Walking Dead and Amazon Prime Video’s Invincible.
Jacoby will be focused on quickly expanding the global unscripted TV slate, although Skybound didn’t delve any deeper into his strategy. He joins at the same time as former MGM TV VP Chris Goble, who takes up the newly-created SVP of Television role. Both will report to TV President Glenn Geller.
Jacoby joins from Sky Studios-backed Catalina where he developed the likes of The Mighty Underdogs for Discovery+. Prior to that, he led the development team for ITV America’s Outpost Entertainment, working for the likes of Discovery, A&e, Food Network and Science Channel including History’s Knife or Death.

Goku and Gojo Satoru are the two pinnacle of strengths in their respective universes. While one is the strongest Saiyan fighter in the Dragon Ball world, another is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer to ever exist in Jujutsu Kaisen. The two have totally different powers and abilities, but their battle will be an interesting sight for anime and manga fans.
Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen season two
While the chance of this battle ever taking place is impossible, a Jujutsu Kaisen fan account recently shared a post on X(Formerly Twitter) which had an edited image of a fight between Goku and Gojo Satoru. The post instantly went viral and anime fans shared their opinions about the imaginary battle.
The post led to a discussion among Jujutsu Kaisen fans and Dragon Ball fans. The general opinion among the fans was that Goku would absolutely demolish Gojo and could easily win the fight.

Aron Levitz, David Madden and Jason Goldberg will produce for Wattpad Webtoon. Robert Kirkman, David Alpert and Rick Jacobs are producing the film via Skybound. Skybound’s Fred D. Lee will oversee the project.

With the massive success of the Invincible TV series, Skybound Entertainment has decided to expand into the gaming industry as they plan to release a Aaa game based on the iconic comics and TV series. Despite being one of the most popular franchises in the world, Skybound is still relying on crowdfunding for the Invincible video game.

Skybound has set up an investment opportunity for the fans on the Republic investment platform, allowing people to invest a minimum of $100 into the game. They have already raised $18 million from everyday investors and fans through Republic/Seedrs, so why do they need crowdfunding again? The strange part of this investment is that people who invest will not even get equity in the company as Skybound has the right to decide in the future if they want to provide investors with equity.

The severity of James Gunn’s formative DC Universe is paramount, to say the least. The sense of purpose that has been guiding the DC Studios CEO since November 2022 has been solely focused on using Superman as the foundation for the new and improved universe. Understandably, James Gunn’s Dcu needs to find a fixture soon on which the entire universe’s model can be based, but Superman is the only IP that has to convince the audience of the rate of Dcu’s success.

Invincible is one of the most popular TV adaptations based on a comic book by the same name, and there’s no surprise that the gaming community wants a piece of that experience too. Skybound, the studio behind the series, has started a kickstart campaign in hopes of actualizing this vision.
The team has been vocal about envisioning Invincible as a triple-a quality video game, which is true to its source material and gives players the freedom to explore some of their favorite characters from comics and shows.
Skybound Isn’t New to Handing Epic Franchises
The talented minds at Skybound aren’t new to crafting daunting and powerful experiences. In fact, these are the same creators who have managed an IP as strong and popular as The Walking Dead. Given how versatile the franchise has been in the context of different adaptations, it’s likely we’ll see the same with Invincible.

Has it really been five years since the release of Ready or Not? The film, which starred Samara Weaving as a young bride who her spouse’s wealthy family hunts as part of a ritual, received positive reviews and didn’t do too badly at the box office, so where’s the sequel? Well, directors Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and producer Chad Villella — collectively known as Radio Silence — told Entertainment Weekly that they’ve been working on Ready or Not 2 since the release of the first movie and tease that it’s “an absolute f***ing banger.“

Could Invincible be getting more seasons on Prime Video? According to Skybound Republic, an investment/crowdfunding site that allows fans to invest in the label, more episodes of the ultra-violent comic book action series are coming. In a since-deleted portion of the webpage, the site said Invincible Season 3 is in production, while the show had been renewed for Seasons 4 and 5. The webpage promotes a video game set in the Invincible universe, which fans can help fund. The crowdfunded project sits at $442,700 as of this posting, with 14 days to go in the campaign.
A portion of the mission statement for the campaign describes why making a video based on a licensed property causes some problems:
“Most crowdfunded video games are centered around indie games, and retail investors rarely have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Aaa game publishers. Skybound is developing a highly produced, high-octane blood bath that is anything but indie.

"Invincible" season 2 just wrapped (read our review here). While the long gap after season 1 slowed down the excitement, the second season kept the show's quality soaring higher than a Viltrumite.
"Invincible" may stream on Prime Video, but its origin story lies at Image Comics. Image was founded in 1992 as counter-programming to the Marvel/DC comics duopoly; the founders included '90s comic superstars like Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlane, and Jim Lee (the man who rebranded the X-Men for the '90s). The "I" on Invincible's costume? It doesn't just stand for "Invincible," but "Image" too.
At Marvel and DC, the publishers own the characters and cycle out writers/artists at the popular ones. Image, on the other hand, specializes in creator-owned comics where writers and artists retain authority. That's why "Invincible" was personally created by Robert Kirkman, author of the comics. Amazon has committed a big mistake with its new Prime Video release, Fallout, a series based on the video game series of the same name. It has received great reviews from critics as well as audiences, however, the chatter about the series hasn’t lived up to the quality of the series. One of the major reasons for this buzzkill might be Amazon going out of its way to release all the episodes of the series in a single go.

Walton Goggins is an incredible actor, a fact long proven by his amazing performances across different platforms. Yet to say that he takes his acting game even a step further in Prime Video’s Fallout would not be an understatement.

Fortnite is one of the most popular Battle Royale titles. The title has aged very well, especially when one looks at its player retention, considering it played out more than seven years ago. Epic Games has ensured that it has introduced various game modes and ways to play, capturing a larger audience.
Among all of these new game modes, some truly stand out. One such mode is Prop Hunt, which was introduced by the game recently. Another one based on Invincible, the animated TV series, seems to be getting traction, and for good reason.
Fortnite’s Invincible-inspired game mode, Rise of the Sequids, seems spectacular The Invincible-based game mode is set on Mars.
When Fortnite introduced the concept of Islands, it allowed players to develop and implement their ideas as playable game modes. Skybound Games has developed a new experience titled Invincible: Rise of the Sequids using this feature in the title.

Heroes creator Tim Kring is rebooting the sci-fi drama series into a new show titled Heroes: Eclipse
Save the cheerleader. Save the world. Heroes creator Tim Kring made the mission sound so easy in 2006, but as we all know, things are more complex when people with supernatural abilities start running amok. Thankfully, we’re getting another chance at winning the day because Tim Kring is rebooting Heroes for a second encore with Heroes: Eclipse.
According to Deadline‘s exclusive report, “Heroes: Eclipsed is set years after the events of the original series as new evos are being awakened and discovering powers that will change their lives. Featuring familiar villains and new enemies who once again will be attempting to suppress this next step in human evolution, it will be up to this new group of heroes to save the world.”
Heroes: Eclipse sounds an awful lot like Heroes Reborn, Kring’s 2015 limited series set years after the events of the original. Like Heroes Reborn, Heroes: Eclipse introduces...
