"Deeper and Deeper" is a song by the artist known as Madonna and here we have the music video that goes with it. It runs for slightly under 6 minutes and it is probably the most known career effort for director Bobby Woods. The cast includes some names that even I as a non-American, or especially because I am a non-American, recognize. We got Udo Kier in here, still among Germany's most known actors abroad and he just played a bigger part in the new Matt Damon movie Downsizing and if you look closely enough, you will find actress Sofia Coppola in here too. This was made shortly after her performance in the third Godfather movie. She was around the age of 20 when this was released back in 1992, so it had its 25th anniversary last year already. Now I cannot say I liked the song, the visual side or Madonna's looks too much. The chorus is kinda catchy, but nothing else is really memorable. Must be for a reason why Miss Ciccone never returned to working with Woods. This is actually one of the less memorable music videos, despite the stars, I have seen from her and the fittingly deep-voice chorus cannot really make up for the forgettable aspects. I give this one a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
