"Madonna" raised eyes and caught attention with this music video of her hit song from 1986 "Open Your Heart" as it for one is advertising sex. As from seeing the images it's clearly a tease and it involves a young man who wants to get into a club somewhat of a peep show, once inside "The Material Girl" who's very sexy and beautiful is an exotic dancer. Only it's happy ever after in the end for "Madonna" and the little boy who both leave together. Still the video was well done.

"Open Your Heart" is the music video for the song of the same name. The performer is Madonna and this was directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, who worked with her on several occasions. It was released back in 1986, so this one had its 30th anniversary last year. It runs for a bit over 4 minutes and that is really common for the artist here as Madonna's music videos were always the normal running time, nothing as long as Michael Jackson did back then for example. And while I would say that Madonna was perhaps at her best and most creative back in the 1980s, I don't think this is anywhere near my favorite works from her, both the song and video. I would say this one is really only for the very biggest fans as lyrics and visual side were a bit flat to me and I also didn't find her as physically appealing as in other works. Thumbs down.
