Features poetry from Wade Radford's November 2016 book 'The Ideation of Six Feet Under'.
Featuring music by Australian artist Edward Guglielmino. The films title 'Caught in a Landslide' was named after Ed's song of the same title. During email conversations between Jay and Ed, Ed suggested a change in the films title. Originally the film was to own the same name as the book 'A Vision of Life'. Jay originally contacted Edward because his music had meant a lot to him at the time in his life that the film is based on.
All locations used in the film are settings from the books real life events. 'A Vision of Life' book mentions in detail the forest and the blue bridge, as well as the Dartford Crossing.
In the caught in a landslide music montage the rainbow in the distance was real. As the team were packing up equipment to finish for the day, Jay decided he wanted to include the rainbow because he was amused by it's appearance at the end of a shoot of a gay film.
Jay Proctor under his pseudonym Wade Radford is a regular contributor to underground LGBT film. He is most well known for his portrayal of the disturbed Kayden Daydream in the 2014 film Twink. His other contributions include 1 Last Chance at Paradise and Sex Lies and Depravity.
