A weaker episode
solojere21 June 2021
In this episode, Titus takes Kimmy to Church for Good Friday. At the same time, Jacqueline gives Lillian a make where she tries to turn her into a copy of herself. While there a few good one-liners here and there, this is one of the weaker episodes. None of the storylines in this episode were that funny or builds towards any larger narrative. Also Anna Camp reprises her role of Deirdre Robespierre. Sadly, this was her last episode and is she is hardly even in it. I think Deirdre is perfect as Jacqueline's Frenemy. I think season 3 would have been better if it would've had more Deirdre and less of Jacqueline trying to change the name of the redskins, especially since they aren't even called that anymore. They wasted Anna Camp, and Deirdre's character never got any closure. :(

Warning: Spoilers
This was a really disappointing episode. Everything about Lillian and Jacqueline's scenes was brutal, especially the return of Anna Camp's annoying character.

I didn't have a problem with the shots at religion, although I expected some did. It just wasn't a funny episode.

Just Dull

I suppose this is a shot at religion. I won't get into the hypocrisy of organized religion. Kimmy feels because that guy wants to be reverend and her experiences have been in the bunker, she should at least go to church to help figure things out. What transpires is empty and pointless. There is a woman who is out to get Titus and she needs to be stopped; but there is more to the story. The other plot line is Jacqueline and Lillian and a makeover and that is rambling and utterly pointless. Eventually, a lesson is learned but it is so saccharine that it was hardly worth the effort. I'll see if this series has dropped the ball the rest of the way.
