P. King is inspired by the movie "Stink Bug, Come Home" to make his own serious movie. The phone lines in Hilly Hole are damaged during a storm, so P. King creates a new phone system with tin cans and string.
In "The Dog Fish", P. King gets a new pet - a rare Siberian Dogfish. In "P. King's Great Jog", P. King wants to find a brand new place to jog, so Chumpkins and Wombat take him to The Great Wall of China.
P. King, Chumpkins, and the other citizens of Hilly Hole plan a surprise party for Wombat. After seeing the beautiful view on a hill, P. King decides to move there.

P. King searches outside of town for a great mentor. Chumpkins feels unaccomplished, so P. King shows him what Hilly Hole would be like without his inventions.
Chumpkins' cousin comes to town to play in a big soccer game, and he wants Chumpkins to play, too! P. King's Uncle Popiah the Clown comes to visit Hilly Hole, but he's not his usual self.
P. King learns to do laundry the "old-fashioned way" and ends up doing the whole town's laundry. Chumpkins' computer, Zeus, gets a virus that P. King accidentally spreads.
