Whoa!!!!

If you remember (?) early in this fantastic series a body had to be stuffed into a suitcase (bones breaking) to cover up a murder. This episode's unbelievable scene of Phillip and Elizabeth protecting the identity of their dead team agent is truly jaw-dropping. For an over-the-air show Fox went "hands down" for the "jugular." Pun definetly intended.

One ugly episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Harvest is a gut wrenching to watch episode. A realistic episode, which must be based or inspired on fact. Some material can not be made up. Henry must pay again for the K G B parents hidden job. The excuses are starting to cut thin of why the Henry's parents must leave town and Stan is becoming suspicious. There is a by the numbers attempted retrieval of a K G B agent which goes bad. The details realism and practice to hide evidence is gut wrenching! A memorable episode. Stand is back in counter intelligence, and at the end of the episode Stan investigates on his gut in stinks. The final season is back to the first seasons spy game style. Worth watching. 9 stars

Very strong episode with a compelling turn in the overarching series narrative

Phillip joins Elizabeth in Chicago to help with the mission.

This is a very strong episode with a good mixture of plot development and character moments.

I cannot go into plot specifics without spoiling but it's safe to say this should appeal as much to those who like to see the spy missions as it does to those who are into the character study. The key aspect of the episode is that it feels like it's beginning to tee up the overarching narrative ready for the show to conclude.

The visuals are incredibly well done and sickeningly realistic in one scene.

All cast are excellent as always with Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell and Noah Emmerich on great form.

For me this is an 8.5/10 but I round upwards.

One nearly perfect episode...

It's another episode where everything has gone wrong for both sides but it's also one of the few episodes done right in this final season and very much worth watching.

There are just a few considerations (from my perspective) that keep this episode from getting the ten stars rating but are very subjective considerations and would qualify as spoilers.

Harvest

Warning: Spoilers
Another real nothing burger of an episode. They are going to have Stan figure things out in probably the last episode of the series, but how they get there will not exactly be believable.

And dial back on all the Henry appearances. Unless he is the one that turns them in, I don't know what they're doing.

I Get It

Warning: Spoilers
Its really a Russians R Devils Season 5 Phil become a bit Human but season 6, back 2 the evil demons even Phil taking a young virgin. As for the FBI made 2 look like idiots This series so many holes, no security on the Jennings house not even a hair across the door Its pure fantasy The FBI are not that stupid, Stan wonders why they get home at 4am and thinks they must be working hard, i mean is this a comedy?

Spys are not like this, they are not like 007 they are shadows, who live normal boring lives passing on bits of info, not going round killing people every week, cutting up bodies in garages. I mean are they taking the P? Yes it's good acting very good acting, but it's not real and it don't ring true.

Someone on one of the reviews said it must be based on fact, what planet are you on?

And everybody on the planet falls for Mrs Bond, mind you I suppose that's a P take on Mr Bond as women would fall at his feet mind you they knew he was a spy this is a violent nasty Anti-Russian black comedy, and if they had waited a few years they 99% of the World would hate Russia and YES they are Evil Demons.
