You Thought Dark Souls Was Difficult? Try This!

This game was, and still is, the hardest game I've ever played in my entire life. I used to own the Nintendo version (also released for Sega-which contained a more violent version of the game). You rarely get to ever heal, and if you do even one thing wrong, "poof" your dead. If you use an item in the wrong spot "poof" it kills you. There are no signs of weaknesses in the floors where trap doors fall from underneath you; then "poof" your dead. This game is extremely hard.

Despite the games difficulty, it is crammed full of challenging puzzles, and a very well written story line. The plot is also a valid reason of why you go through with the agony of this labyrinth. Everything except your character is explained. They name you "the unnamed-wizard" in the game. I think the developers wanted it to be this way, so you can think of that wizard as being you. I could be wrong, but that's what I think of it.

If you love retro games that are EXTREMELY challenging, set in an RPG fantasy world, than look no further. It might be very difficult, but it's extremely rewarding when you accomplish new tasks in the game. I liked it.
