Knowing what we know about Hollywood

Warning: Spoilers
Strong monologue about the gas crisis in the 70s

The interview with Ricky Schroeder is most noteworthy. Carson asks Ricky how he was able to make himself cry in his new movie, The Champ? Ricky says he thinks of something awful that will make him cry and one of the things he thinks about, actual happened. Cringe. Of course he won't say what it is, not that they would have aired it if he did. But knowing what we know, I fear the worst.

Chevy Chase comes on and appeared to be high on something but he was promoting a tv show special that he reveals Harry Shearer and Christopher Guest both wrote on.

Gallagher comes on and does a great set, probably the only Gallagher set you would ever need to see. Let's just say he does his greatest hit

Barbara Bach tells her story about almost being on Charlie's Angels while Chevy Chase tries to hit on her. Then Chase and Gallagher trade verbal jabs back and forth and Carsen drops the hammer on both of them and ends the show on top

I've said it before but this episode really is proof you're better off watching any random episode of Carsen than any current late night show.
