Season 9, Episode 11

STAR TREK: GENERATIONS, THE SWAN PRINCESS, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, THE PROFESSIONAL and TO LIVE are the five films that are discussed on this episode of Siskel and Ebert. It's always interesting watching these episodes decades after they originally aired and think about where these pictures are today. STAR TREK still has its cult following. MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET pretty much stood the test of time and remains popular with people. THE SWAN PRINCESS has been forgotten. Then you've got THE PROFESSIONAL, which both Siskel and Ebert ripped here and yet it has a major following. In fact, their review here is pretty brutal towards the film yet neither mention that the version that was released in America was cut to pieces. All in all this was anotehr highly entertaining episode and remains fun to watch today.
