Sound effects artist Ben Burtt discusses his work on the 1978 film INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. This is a pretty interesting featurette as it focuses solely on the sound effects and it really gives one a great idea of everything that goes on behind-the-scenes in order to get the right sound on the screen. Philip Kaulfman, the director of the film, is also on hand and discusses how they were trying something different with the Dolby soundtrack. If you're a fan of the film then this is certainly a must see because there's all sorts of great information on the various things that were done in order to get the sound right. We hear about what type of items were used for the sounds and this really makes for a fun featurette.
