This four-minute featurette has Philip Kaufman talking about the pods seen in his 1978 film INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. Kaufman and one of the special effects creators discuss how the effects were done and all the technical things that had to happen in order to make them look effective on the screen. At just four-minutes there's not really enough time here to get into great details about the effects but it at least gives you a good idea of how they were creative and what type of challenge was involved. Fans of the film will certainly enjoy this.
