When Layla first shows Seth the stockings hanging on his fireplace she tells him that she is going to add some small presents inside of them so they don't look like props. But later when the Parade of Homes starts and people are coming in to see the house, the stockings are still empty.
Pine cones hanging on the garage are visible in early scenes prior to when Layla and Seth are on the ladder.
When Stanley Malcom walks into the living room, Seth is on Layla's left, but then when Stanley compliments her, Seth is on her right.
When Layla checks a message in her voicemail after the wedding reception, her cell phone automatically continues to play the rest of them on its own, one after the other like a landline answering machine. Cell phones need each message selected to play it.
The movie depicts Bennet privately confronting Layla at their Dad's house about having a fake engagement, Seth's dishonesty and not listening to her own feelings. But the wider frame shot clearly shows an open floor plan with Seth and their Dad sitting just a few feet away where they would have heard everything.
The last thing Layla does before the house viewing is to hang a red bow on the column next to the stairway. When the developer views the house, the red bows are gone.
Layla's last name is O'Reilly. When she looks at the cousin's wedding invite to mail back (you have to freeze the scene to read the red envelope) the names are Jack Evans and Jessica O'Reilly. However, Jessica is related to Layla's deceased mother, not her father (O'Reilly). Several scenes have the Aunt Lorraine saying how Jessica and Layla grew up together and how Aunt Lorraine and Jessica's mother could go weeks without talking. So Lorraine is on the mother's side.
When Seth proposes to Layla at the party near the end of the movie, Jack says "Wait, am I missing something?" in the actor's Australian accent instead of the character's American accent.
