- Bear Grylls presents the series in which eight celebrities face a 12-day survival mission through the rainforest of Costa Rica. To stay alive, they must learn to navigate the terrain, build shelters, make fire and supplement their meagre army rations. Emilia and Laurence Fox, Max George, Dame Kelly Holmes, Jamelia, Tom Rosenthal, Vogue Williams and Mike Tindall make up the team. On the ground, Bear is assisted by expedition leaders mountain guide Meg Hine and former commando Scott Heffield. In this edition, the celebrities have to negotiate their way down a steep ravine in dense jungle to reach their camp for the night. Bear shows them how to avoid insect bites with nature's own repellent - mud. The following morning, he has them abseiling down a 120-foot waterfall. Once they have all been retrieved safely by Scott, Bear has another treat in store - they are going to have to drink their own urine. Who has done most to impress and who is about to be sent home?
- Bear Grylls presents the series in which celebrities face a 12-day survival mission in the dangerous wilderness of the South African bush. The seven who started the mission were Neil Morrissey, Jason Gardiner, Michelle Collins, Samantha Barks, Stuart Pearce, Chelsee Healey and Alex Scott. Now, the remaining six start the day without breakfast, having decided to conserve their dwindling military rations. They trek to meet Bear, who delivers their first mission of the day. After locating the carcass of a dead springbok, they must each carry a portion in their rucksacks across a leopard crawl - two lines suspended 50ft above a rocky ravine. Anybody who fails to get across successfully, keeping their hands and feet on the ropes, will have to sacrifice their meat. As the light starts to fade, so does one celebrity's hopes of becoming Bear's mission survivor. One must leave and, for the remaining five, the journey towards the Indian Ocean continues.
