The Martha situation
Mr-Fusion19 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Easily the best of the season thus far, and best described as . . . well, a game-changer. Because it plunges the show into uncertainty. There's an amazingly intense scene early on with both Gabriel and Elizabeth aghast at Philip's decisions of late (especially the move to bring Martha in out of the field). They're a step closer to seeing him as unfit to do the job.

But who the hell knows what'll happen to Martha herself? She took a sick day that her FBI superiors don't buy for a second, her marriage is a shambles, and she's last seen storming out of the safehouse. I didn't honestly think she'd last this long, and while there's clearly no happy ending for her, her presence has thrown this season into chaos. It's a hell of a twist.

Another incredibly tense episode

The focus of both KGB and FBI is on one agent.

This is a very compelling episode that develops an unbelievable amount of dramatic tension.

All I can say about the plot (without spoiling) is that it is is mostly centred around one individual and feels like the first leg of a two-parter. There are what seems like a few hints at what the outcome will be, but these days television writers like to bring the unexpected on on viewers so I wouldn't like to be too sure what will happen. I have in mind an alternative theory to what feels like the inevitable, but we'll have to wait to see what happens next.

All production values are excellent and the performances are as brilliant as ever with Alison Wright in particular standing out.

The crao-o-meter is turned off

When we go to the cinema, i am often told by the gf, that "it's not Real Life" and this is the way I am going to look at this series now.

When I see what is going on in the world at this present time, way more important to get upset by I like the actors, they are decent, Keri has a nice backside (if it is her backside) I like the big old Yankee cars, always loved the US cars, have a Lefty Mustang myself.

It's interesting that a few of the actors are British.

So that's the way I shall be looking at this series, good TV entertainment As that is what it is, it's not "Real Life"
