In the first draft of the script, Roger and Damage find heroin in the cops' car instead of cocaine. Writer Shawn Schminke decided to change the stash to cocaine due to the much more negative stigma attached to heroin. One reference to the heroin storyline still remains - the film's title. Directors Shawn Schminke and Troy Wells liked the name too much to change it.
