I LOVED INTRUDER for so many reasons. -minor spoilers below- Each character was so wonderful in their own stage of being an addict or being manipulated by an addict. The trust that is lost between the family is something that every addict and the addict's family goes through. I love that the viewer isn't told the tumultuous history between the family but left to come up with their own idea as to how they became so estranged. We are left wondering what all the daughter has put them through. The script was cleverly thought out, characters are relatable and believable, and I really appreciate the symbolism with what is taken. INTRUDER has the real potential to be a full length. I hope it does. I could go on and on about how great this short is.
