A white room. The aging bodies of actors Gilles Pelletier and Françoise Graton testify to a love that has triumphed over time and a captivating lover's dialogue emerges between two octogenarian bodies defying inertia, old age and death. With music by the group Forêt, this sensuous short film depicts the tremblings of desire and the most elemental components of love.
An elderly Caucasian man and woman are presented against a palette of white. They react to and interact with each other, the former largely in their movements and observing those movements, and the latter largely through touching in various ways. Some of those reactions and interactions are what can be considered intimate in being done in bed largely in a state of repose.—Huggo
