What could have been a beautiful short about brothers was completely ruined by the ending which you will not hear until after the credits. Turning this into a bottom of the pile horror flick with the innocent family dog. One star for knowing how to screw up a masterpiece.

A family. death of dog. the dig of grave. a broken shovel. one of simple stories remembering the emotions and reactions and spirit of childhood. impeccable crafted. example of seductive photography. tension, humor and aspects of an ordinary family life. enough for a beautiful portrait of two brothers.
