- The aftermath of the dinner party has many Cedar Cove residents in a state of denial. Olivia and Jack confront each other about their trust issues. Then, Olivia is concerned after Grace calls off her engagement, even as Grace insists she is fine with her decision. But Bob and Peggy secretly plan to prove she is only kidding herself. Then, as Olivia serves Will papers to stop his real estate plans, some unsolicited advice from Paul makes her second guess her decision.
- Olivia and Jack seem to be moving back on track in their relationship, with a tentative dinner engagement following Jack's return from a business trip to Seattle. But this step to rectifying issues in their relationship may be threatened by Jack's continued support for Alex, and Paul continuing to be a part of Olivia's professional and personal life. In turn, Paul contemplates moving out of the Thyme & Tide because of Bob. At what she believes is an impasse, Olivia decides to take her and Will's problems into a legal setting, which does not sit well with Will. Warren tries to hold onto Kelly as his wife, despite her pleas for him to sign the divorce papers. Matt, an old Navy Seal friend of Luke's, arrives in Cedar Cove. Matt tells Moon one story about why he's in Cedar Cove, while he tells Luke another. Justine believes the version told to Moon, which if is the truth means that Matt is having problems that may require external professional help. Rebecca confronts Gloria about what she found in her wallet. And Grace tries to hide the hurt she feels in breaking up with Cliff. Bob and Peggy believe they know the reason why Grace broke up with him, and hatch a plan to help Cliff get her back.—Huggo
