Jo refuses to be intimidated, not put off by pressure from her superiors, she continues to hunt for her husband's killer.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series, it ends with a really great episode. Very well paced, exciting and dramatic, this was an incredibly satisfying conclusion. It's a rollercoaster, you are made to wait to find out who the real villain is.
The story is very good, but elevated by some terrific acting, Douglas Henshall, Geraldine James, and once again a terrific Sheridan Smith.
You do need to suspend your disbelief a few times, you have to laugh when half The Met Police force turn up at the swimming baths.
9/10.
