The Drama is shining in abundance, Upping their game in a hugely noticeable way,, excited already for the season.
Aktham_Tashtush25 June 2015
Gosh the season has just started yet it kept me so tense and engaging with every bit of conversation, Donna and Harvey, Harvey and Louis, Louis and Donna ... heightened emotions all over the episode,, everyone is so intriguing and the scenes are rolling so fast with no boring pauses.

If the season kept it up like that it could really over jump the high bar of the first season (as you know every good show sets a bar for a wowzing first season, then the next ones would be rated based on that referencing season ).

So overall, from the first look, the Drama this season is pounding like Harvey's Heart before he vomited when he had that striking episode :D and they ended the episode with a heartwarming fresh comedy ;)

I'm really excited to see more and more of what surprises to come next :)

Counter Response to the "Over the Top" Drama Criticisms
scottkursch5 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Quick perspective to the comments about Harvey's character development being too melodramatic. I understand a change in Harvey's invincible, dominant, always take charge, never waiver or falter persona can be a disappointment after establishing a relationship with the character. But part of a long-running drama series is coming up with forms of character transformation, depth and change.

Just because anxiety attacks do not fit a viewer's vision of how Harvey should develop, does not mean it's not a valid, wise, or fitting development. I think it's absolutely perfectly fitting for keeping the characters more real to life and not fantasy superhero-like. Again, I get that it bursts some fantasy bubble of whatever box you try to put the character in, but it makes perfect sense to me.

I've thought for a while about what could happen from the extended emotional bottling that Harvey practices. Combine that with how Harvey himself has described his dependency on Donna as a prerequisite for his success and general functionality, and the sudden nature of the split, and panic attacks onset correlate very accurately to REAL life.

Anyone who has experienced or had family members who've experienced onset of anxiety or panic attacks will appreciate or comprehend this development. Again, I don't care WHAT is written into the storyline or WHAT direction the character developments go, you will NEVER please EVERYONE. There will ALWAYS be viewers/fans who disagree or are displeased. I've imagined after 4 seasons that the writing could become redundant, stray from the original vibe, or evolve into something else, but I don't see that yet. It's not an easy thing for even quality shows to run a decade and stay true to its original premises. But hey it's a free country and that's what user reviews are for...to express personal opinion. In these cases, right or wrong is in the eye of the audience member.

Harvey all the way
nikatinfinity29 June 2015
Wait are we looking for too much drama here, the answer is YES but a constructive one. The screenplay is very tight that keeps the viewer glued to their TV Sets. On a performance scale-- Harvey specter nails it big time. He is simply outstanding in the emotional sequences, especially the scenes with the doctor where he admits to the DOC about the after effects when he had the first panic attack. He ensures that the viewer travels with him on this emotional journey and connects with his story big time.

Everything about the episode(5.1) is special as you get to see the falling Harvey who will eventually rise accepting his defeat. Its by-far one of the most intriguing episodes in Suits. Watch the climax and you will agree with me.

What suits proves is a fantastic TV series can be made in an closed Office Cubicle and we are definitely not dependent on dragons, bloodbath AND nudity.

UNCONVENTIONAL

Warning: Spoilers
This is it and it's happening . Not a usual suits episode , it was emotional

I dunno how long they're gonna drag this coz they did stretch the mike farewell but eventually he came back .

Denial is such a good name for the episode.

Harvey's lost someone he can't replace.

~ Sometimes facing the truth is so hard.

Till now Harvey had a way of keeping things distant with Donna but he broke the barrier himself by confessing to which she always felt things would definitely go back.

~ Anxiety attacks are so hard to go through.

Damn! The thing is as the counsellor said, the first step is talking bout them The thing is that Harvey has been suppressing his feelings, which made him think that Donna will always be with him even if things don't proceed.

It's like building a dam, when the water fills up, the pressure is huge and once you release it, you realize you've nothing left.

The point is don't be a damn, be a river. Flow with her instead of trying to hold her together with you.

~ The ending didn't necessarily mean that he overcame it , nobody that but that he did decide to accept the fact that she's gone and she ain't coming back .

PS : I hate Mike's new hairstyle ! What is he ? A High schooler or a Bell ><

Some People Are Human
Hitchcoc25 August 2023
We are brought into the post-Donna era as Harvey suffers from a panic attack. He has had the luxury of being loved and looked after by Donna. Now his complicated world falls right into his lap. For a time Rachel does what she can to fill in but when she misses on thing, he turns on her. But ultimately, Harvey is able to focus on the case itself, involving shoe companies, and he needs to use his legal chicanery to save his client's business. Meanwhile, Louis, in his paranoid way, muscles his way around. He is an excellent lawyer, but he is a really flawed man. Things go sour when a guy from financial tries to rewrite compensation. Louis tries to defend Harvey's huge salary and comes off looking foolish.

I'm with Harvey
drnikic7 March 2022
I don't like change. I realise that the writers/showrunners wanted to shake things up a bit, but I hate Donna and Harvey not being a team.

Also (I know it's shallow) I hate Mike's hair. It looks greasy and yucky.

Why you gotta do Harvey like that?
chunkylefunga4 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Yet again a show gives someone serious mental health issues for exactly one episode and then they magically get over it.

1. Harvey wouldn't get panic attacks from losing a secretary, especially if they only move about 20 feet away.

2. People who suffer from mental health issues don't recover from it almost instantly.

TOOOOO MUCH drama for losing Donna !
thekhalednouh24 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I love this show ... i was so excited for the season premier but i think it took off very slow ... its tooooo much drama for the GREAT Harvey specter about losing his Donna ... through out the season we always saw how strong he is and we all remember " Caring makes you ... WEAK " in the episode of the mock trial in season 2 .

Now come on : A psychiatrist , Throwing up , popping pills and not doing his job as a lawyer is just too much. when mike find out that Rachel cheated on him by kissing Logan he was strong furious in short words he acted like a man AND they live together and they love each other since season 1 ... but sorry no you can't introduce Harvey as MIGHTY and STRONG that nothing affects him then make him act like a girl. Come Rachel didn't see a psychiatrist or started popping up pills for cheating on mike.

i hope that this show stays on its core which is LAW & LAWYERS instead of turning into the new " the bold and the beautiful "so where are the cases , the thrill of him winning an impossible case .. i hope it gets better rather than just spending the rest of the season watching Harvey trying to get Donna back or mike & Rachel preparing their wedding.

Fingers Crossed !

Suits is now ruined
mr_matt_matt12 August 2015
Warning: Spoilers
What a promising show this was. It had all the hallmarks of a really great show. Up until Season 5 that is.

I created an IMDb account specifically to write this review it got me that pis*ed.

There's such thing as too much drama. This show was cool to begin with as they got the mix between cool and drama so right. Between Michael being a super-genius and Harvey being the king of lawyers it was an awesome watch. We all love watching shows/movies about genius's and people who are the best at what they do - it's entertaining.

But no, they HAD to ruin it by sending Harvey to therapy and giving him anxiety attack's - you've taken away the show's charm to now become a drama-only, let's talk about our feelings s**t fest.
