fascinating people and places

This is a BBC nature show depicting mostly wilderness worlds and the extent to which people go through to survive. Most of the people are doing something extreme to eek out a living. Many of the situations are poor people surviving on the periphery like the Bangladeshi honey collectors. I do wonder if some of these ways can survive like the Canadian Inuit collecting clams under the ice. The two boys being ritually stung by bullet ants is incredible even as a cultural artifact. The church in the Ethiopian mountain is epic although it's only in the making-of section that the climb is truly appreciated. Not all of it is about natural wonders. The bomb disposal in Laos is emotional and personal but is strictly manmade. These are stories about people and I suspect some of these will disappear soon enough.

These incredible and eye opening ways of life are truly magnificent! I applaud the director and film crew on capturing unbelievable footage of these unknown unbelievably strong and unique people and their ways of life. Despite facing the biggest obstacles in this ever changing world, they push on and do what they must to provide for their families and animals whilst living in such harsh conditions that the rest of us could never even imagine living in! The director and film crew deserve to work alongside david attenborough! Thats how awesome their work is in the making of this documentary series. All the real life cast whom opened their doors and hearts to share their lives and traditional ways with us deserve an abundant of everlasting life, live stock and undying love. They are truly inspiring and remind the rest of us to not take what we have for granted and to be grateful for it all. And despite having A LOT less than us these natives smile more, love more and are the most genuinely humble hearted humans i know.
