A short film in black and white. Sounds artsy, doesn't it? And it is. Transgression tackles a touchy subject and brutally describes what some people would like to do to their significant other.
I had the pleasure of viewing Transgression at the Borealis Film Festival in April, and thoroughly enjoyed the story, cinematography and acting. Bailey's take on an almost Hitchcockian mystery is very engaging. Bailey narrates the story through voice over, which adds an extra level to the story. In fact, the only spoken lines are through the narration.
Transgression is a great film from an up and coming filmmaker. I look forward to seeing Bailey's next film.
