Sending an unbeliever to do a believers job.
CashbackLiz30 October 2017
The doc was old but I watched it anyway as I assumed that it was one of the presentations the BBC wanted to give to "celebrate" the 500th anniversary of the Reformation by Martin Luther and so considered the British Reformation and the creation of the first English bible.

What can I say? I am tired of watching Christian documentaries presented by non Christians/Atheists'.. whilst I used to like Melvyn Bragg when I was of the world ( ie an unbeliever) now as a believer I feel that he was not equipped to present this documentary on Tyndale & the first English Translation of the Bible . He looked out of his depth and was clearly incapable of presenting the points from a Christian point of view which was what was needed. Instead we had the so called observation of the development of the English language and the notion that Tyndale created the Word of God rather than translated it. The Word of God comes from God and is given to His Prophets-Christians ..yes He has to give it to men as it is for man ... recall Moses going to get the Commandments , moral and civil laws for the newly established Nation of Israel...so lets not have anymore of the atheist' arguments that men wrote the Word of God. Like all the Reformers Tyndale challenged the mother of all harlots that sits upon many waters(Rev 17 & 18 ) a.k.a roman catholic"church" who was rather fond of keeping people especially her congregants in the dark..by keeping the bible a secret and a mystery to them - for starters it was read only in Latin if you didn't know the language that was that. Tyndale blew that out of the water when he fled abroad to publish his translation of the bible ..the first English bible. Tyndale alas met his end at the hands of a papist agent who betrayed him. He was burned alive in Belgium and now sits next to the Lord Jesus in Glory. 2 Timothy 2:12

Where was the passion in what Tyndale did and accomplish? Melvyn couldn't show that as he is not a Christian and would never understand... As for the notion that Kings ( the monarchy ) didn't have to give account to anyone which Mr Bragg falsely stated that Tyndale asserted is just so wrong.

Do monarchs have a private entrance to Heaven then? i don't think so, they like everyone will have to stand before the Judgement Seat of God in Christ on the Day of Judgment to receive the rewards of deeds done whether good or bad.

They will be assessed on their obedience to the Lord God, the Lord Jesus and and to the laws of the Land which in the UK includes laws like the Coronational Oath, the Act of Settlment 1701 which are God given laws
