Warning: Spoilers
i live in Korea, and when i before the university students i sufferring because so many bullying and a school retreat. in south Korea, school retreat is similar the military academy. and most of instructors are College of Physical Education student. and this country, they are ruthless and fascistic human scums. they very similar between Honor Corps appears in this episode.

so because my traumatic students era, i really angry and sympathy the victim. both murdered marine and suicide cadets. and I won't mince matters, a killer and Honor Corps are group of Psychopath, Human Scumbags.

"Honor" Corps? so "weeds out the weaks" is your goddamn Honor? like Nazis Action T4? Honor your ass. and killer dude. its your only legacy, huh? then go to hell together those worthless legacy.

in the end, i really like Tony's quote to Honor Corps S.O.B. in the wall they feels like a Boss with Organization and Codes, but in the out world nobody give a damn about both. and that's absolutely truth for all bullies.

Effective Tony-centric episode
lor_11 February 2015
Series frequently focuses on one character for an episode, and CADENCE spotlighting Tony's stint at military school as a teenager hits the mark. Especially effective was casting 18-year- old Tanner Stine in his role in flashbacks.

Story by Christopher Silber is a bit cornball, limning the extreme (and deadly) hazing from an honor squad and sadistic code that actually occurs in such institutions. Mystery of who exactly is guilty keeps the pot boiling but this particular topic has been done to death and usually better.

But we do get to see what helped form the man who became DiNozzo and this is satisfying to long-term fans of the show. Stine looks the part and captures Weaherly's mannerisms very well -look for a bright future for the thesp just at the beginning of his career. Acting by the bad guys and the not-so-bad but misguided guys is at a high level.

I enjoyed a brief cameo by Jamie Bamber in his recurring role of Emily's better half. Having just binge-watched via Netflix the entire run of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA, it was fun to see the heartthrob again now in his 40s, still looking for that next lightning strike to followup his iconic success as young Adama in the classic sci-fi series.

"A Few Good Men (1992)" movie
pwwmyyjhp26 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
It just happened that I saw A Few Good Men the night before I saw this episode.

The similarities are striking - the episode MUST be an homage to the 1992 film. The plot is very similar. Even details like the leader of the cadets being directly involved. I'm not saying it's a copy outright, but for sure there are winks throughout the episode - the emphasis on the code and the informal rules. The similar arguments, that the violence saves lives in the greater scheme of things.

But of course, there is some random fingerprints and stuff thrown in, it's an NCIS episode, it's the law. Gotta have fingerprints.
