Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival wrapped up its snow-set celebration of genre madness after announcing winners at the Closing Ceremony. Five of the eight films in the Fantastic Off Theatre Competition received prizes but it was former adult video director Morikawa Kei that walked away with the Grand Prix. While Morikawa was left speechless by his win, Haman director Tetsuya Okabe expressed surprise at receiving the Governor Award with a film tackling the tale of a monstrous tooth-filled vagina. The prizes were decided by a jury consisting of Omori Kazuki, Mike Hostench, Nishimura Yoshihiro and Alex Zahlten.
