A sweet film with a warm heart

A documentary made by a family for families all over the world. It surprised me so much how multi-cultural the Hagerman family is. A man from Sweden gets married to a woman in Spain and together they move to Mexico to start a whole new chapter in their lives. This movie follows the parents facing retirement and their sons reflections on how they will move forward once the inevitable happens. It's funny how there's actually more Hagermans in Mexico now than Sweden.

The entire thing won me over. It reminded me how important it is to appreciate your friends and relatives. Everyone will learn something from this movie. No matter if you are old or young. Many scenes just showcase moments in life that on first glance you might think are insignificant. Just normal every day occurrences that are slow, realistic and here and there show the passing of time. But seeing that here captured on film makes you realize how amazing it is to remember those things. The moments in life were nothing that unusual is going are not the ones you think of documenting that often. Here it's done wonderfully. It brought so much laughter and emotion out of people. It's a movie to admire with a sweet message served with a warm heart. I highly recommend it!
