Sex & Nudity

  • A man is threatened for his balls to be cut off.
  • A man is kicked in the balls.
  • When you join fight clubs Jacob has his shirt off.
  • A kiss between a male character and a female character.

Violence & Gore

  • The least violent AC game. Quite comparable to Skyrim
  • It's worth to note that due to the third-person perspective the violent acts the player performs isn't focused and therefore they aren't as bad as they sound.
  • No gore or dismemberment at all. Just silly blood effects that look highly unrealistic (FYI, they can be turned off)
  • The level of violence and blood isn't nearly as bad as other games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA 5
  • Most of the violence is just you slashing an enemy with a sword or knife. There is no gore, only a small splash of blood, and sometimes, a small pool of it. Any blood can be turned off in the menu
  • Played from a third-person perspective, the game's large open environment can be freely traversed and explored, while buildings and towers can be scaled via free climbing, or with the help of a grappling device. The storyline will progress as the player completes a variety of main missions, which usually require the assassination of certain characters and villains. Missions can usually be completed either with a stealth approach (avoiding detection and minimizing violence), all-out lethal force or a combination of both.
  • The protagonists can use a variety of weapons to fight enemies. These include swords, short blades, throwing knives, pistols, darts, and grenades. Combat consists mainly of melee fighting with a variety of combo and finishing moves. Often the player can also instantly kill enemies with stealth execution moves, by sneaking up unawares from behind or pouncing from above.
  • There are frequent depictions of violence during gameplay and in cinematic scenes.
  • During combat, blood spurts can be seen whenever characters take damage, and enemies are often depicted being stabbed in the body.
  • Some cinematic scenes depict blood and acts of violence. Acts like: A man being stabbed through the side of his face; another being abruptly shot in the head in close range and blood pooling on the floor under his fallen body; etc. No gore.
  • It's worth noting that like other Assassins Creed games in the franchise, there's an option to disable the blood effects in the game. Without this effect, there're still impalements and other actions, that become rather goofy looking.

Profanity

  • There is infrequent use of coarse language, where expletives such as 'f**k' and its variations can be heard in the dialogue.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One particular sub-story involves the investigation and shutting down the manufacturing of a narcotic
  • One of the collectables in the game is the various brews of London beer. This is accomplished through visiting bars where drinking by non-player characters is implied, and by locating bottles. Information is accumulated in the game's encylopedia.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' is an open world action game set in Victorian-era London, and follows the story of the main protagonists Jacob and Evie Frye from the Assassin's Order. They attempt to bring down the Templars and their vicious Grandmaster who have control over London's economy and government throughout the course of the campaign.
